  1. JWP is bang average. A midfield with him and Soucek lacks athleticism whilst being average technically. Todibo looks pants whenever I notice him. Kilman is never worth £47.5m but a decent player. Sold Kudus while not getting the best out of him or properly replacing him. There’s just no cohesion at West Ham. Palace has that year they bought Eze, Olise, Guehi and eventually found a top manager. The Brighton thing just works from the owner ditto Brentford. West Ham? What are they? That can be changed quickly though. As they showed with Moyes.
  2. Xhaka is a snide cunt. That’s a yellow.
  3. Aye. They will be in deep trouble. Can see Ange going by the end of January.
  4. I don’t think he’ll fail. But I think Eddie is one of those managers that gets the best for a player. It won’t always translate when we sell.
  5. Btw I don’t see this as a problem. I don’t get managers like Arteta where fullbacks get into half spaces but the wingers are wide. You don’t create especially for your best finisher. It has its issues but I love Howe ball.
  6. Not convinced by Huijsen in Madrid colours.
  7. Isak is class. BUT we setup for him to score goals. Direct. A winger there just to supply him. In Howe’s 3 seasons. Our number 9s Isak or Wilson+Isak have scored 20 something goals in each. Close to 30 in the CL year. The system was built for our strikers s
  8. Palace are really good right? I think we are the last team to beat them you know.
  9. Soon as I’ve loggged on Real concede. Poor defending from the off. Should push up when it’s played short.
  10. Sarr is becoming the player he was threatening to become at Watford. The right manager and club can be transformative. There’s a few at Palace realising their potential - Will Hughes when he plays.
  11. Notice most of the managers complaining about Xg or these types of things are unemployed. Not that Xg is important or owt. It’s just the attitude to new information and data.
  12. Yeh Rooney was best as a second striker to me. Woltemade spent last season alternating between supporting striker and main striker according to transfermarkt. 5 goals as SS, 7 as CF. What you say about playing as a 10 and being effective isn’t entirely evident by the goals from last season. @Mole
  13. Rooney didn't consider himself a proper 9 and didn't enjoy it up there by himself as he main man. At least not the type we have been asking for since Howe took over.
  14. For Forest he plays as a proper CM. He plays the roles Miley has these last 2 games. Much more of a CM than Willock is asked to play even in the 8. Moreso than Joelinton too tbh.
  15. The ones I watch do. But there's 2 big issues - lots of European and Cup football, strength in depth in most defensive positions and not the best fixtures. I don't think anyone's minutes are secure except Pope.
  16. Very few thought he would be in contention to start for England at the World Cup 2026 with everyone fit. Definitely in the squad. His development has been tremendous and better than I thought. He was rated higher than Osula is now but not considerably more by our fans. Most were happy if £35m was the real sale price. It's already a bargain.
  17. I still credit Howe for a lot of his development. Howe took a young lad that was tearing it up in an attacking role. Realised he probably wasn't sharp/quick enough to do that at the highest level. But took his physicality up a few levels. Moved him deep and central and brought that classic Howe tenacity and sharpness.
  18. Jill is good craic tbh. They just ignore her A big part is they al played in roughly the same era and Jill basically played a different sport. And they ignore her because she’s a woman. They do that super 6 bit at the end - Wrighty and Keane just ignore her input again and again
  19. Aye and all the rotation. Gordon’s sending off hasn’t helped. But you want to see Gordon Nick W Elanga for a run of games
