  1. Always been a good player imo.
  2. As in where there’s a special connection between brand and club. So Newcastle brown ale and us or any Saudi sponsor. The closeness of the brands is unique due to location or ownership etc.
  3. Stalling will be their primary tactic imo. City are litigious. We are not (yet).
  4. You can see it but Dinho had a unique look to him
  5. Finally read The Times article. It suggests ‘bespoke deals’ will be judged more leniently due to special considerations. To me it sounds like the PL will let City’s deal through. And any similar others would have to push legally a bit before the PL folds for them too.
  6. That's not the case for the non-American owned clubs imo. Certainly not the case for Real Madrid as long Florentino is around (which won't be forever). Real, Barca, Juve etc. their support for a ESL is money-driven yes but also to ensure they remain top dogs, that's their brand. They need to win/be super competitive. The idea there is no use for additional PSR headroom is bananas and not worth entertaining.
  7. Israel has been banned from whatever section it would otherwise have been because none of this is new. Israel being a UEFA country, has always been about whitewashing that country's PR - particularly within Europe. Why are they in Eurovision?
  8. I think the long-term aim will be a bigger more regular CWC. The big UEFA Clubs won't want an annual CL level competition with Saudi as the Saudi's will eventually start winning. Any Super League has to make Real Madrid, Juve, Man U etc. happy.
  9. Russia are banned. But a genocidal country literally not in or close to Europe is all-in.
  10. Unless Ange changes styles - Forest are going to get smoked out of their boots I can see him not lasting the season
  11. Owen clearly didn't want to come in the first place and always gave that attitude. Isak has a cold demeanour (he's maintained this in his Liverpool interview), but he was all in at points for us, definitely. That ending will raise question marks for sure.
  12. That isn't far is it. His passing stats will go up mind.
  13. I think the PL will pursue a "shutup or lawyer up" strategy. Said it before - nothing we've done post takeover suggests we'll lawyer up.
  14. The passing thing is definitely Forest style of play. All of our players are similar btw,
  15. He's not coming back imo. Not next summer or even after Forest but I hope i'm wrong. I would buy him back for £60m but I am sentimental, think there's added value in performance with HG players and it's worth it as a HG European spot.
  16. @Kid Icarus how comes you don't rate Nuno? He's had 5 or 6 top 8 finishes in the PL - a bit of a Portuguese David Moyes imo. Wouldn't want him here but he's a good hire for a West Ham, Forest, Wolves etc.
  17. it's the equivalent of 20 full matches which I would class as solid game time for a teenager at this level. Through injury or selection, most people feel that Anderson didn't get enough game time to develop at Newcastle at any point. He never got close to 1800 minutes for us. Last season alone he clocked 3k minutes. That's more experience than he got in 2-3 years at Newcastle post Brsistol.
  18. It’s going to be Ange and I need to get the Forest defenders out my FPL team
  19. With Nick W ability to play 10. Howe having 3 CBs he trusts to play a back 5. I don’t see Miley getting the 1800 minutes he needs to kick on
  20. Same as this season. Barely any midfield cover. Willock was out at the start of the season or coming back from injury and Sandro was banned for the first few months. He barely got a kick.
  21. Think the boy is very talented and could go far. I just don’t think he’s ready for a serious squad role at this point and he would benefit from going out on loan. Plodder is far too harsh. To play well in a Howe team he does need more aggression than he tends to play with both on and off the ball.
  22. Ours requires some physical graft like in the 433. No ten. Wingers wide as owt often. It’s a tough shift. Ton of pressing.
  23. I will say the top 6 have no reason to vote for a closed shop or similar rules. They are never getting relegated. It’s the likes of Palace and Bournemouth getting American majority investors that’s the real problem
