Aligning more with UEFA should mean less draconian penalties for falling foul.

#1 in the NO league is 36 points ahead of me and is ranked at about 6-7k OR. With some luck - anyone in the top 10 could win it. I think 10th is about 100k OR and about 90 points off the top. But I think dude that is first this year has been close to first in the last couple of years. I remember a couple Scandi names leading the charts these last couple years.

31k OR. Id be delighted to end the season here. Will aim for a top 10k finish. Anything below 50k now would be a disappointment.

I entertained the idea of captaining Palmer again. He’s particularly great at home. Ended up having Palmer (VC) with Salah (C). Had I gone with Palmer (C) I’d be topping the NO league I think.

Yeh. Due to Garnacho and Darwin scoring I will drop by the end of the GW but I should still be on a green arrow and sub 40k rank. My best ever rank is 60k so beating that is my aim.

I only kept him because I was 0.1 short of getting to Salah so sold the more expensive Son. If I had the funds I wouldn’t have gotten the points. Likewise around Christmas - if I was happy with my squad I would’ve sold Saka. But I had too many issues to deal with so I kept him. Then he started hauling like crazy. Fortunate.

Somehow some way you’ll get enough points. And the clubs behind are inconsistent. No one is going to win 5 on the bounce. If I thought we were capable of that I wouldn’t be so pessimistic.

They’re a shoe-in for 6th.

Feel sorry for non-Foden owners. Many will have taken him out for a hit. And many owners kept him because his value is too low to get to Salah without more hits. Brutal variance. Im up to 28k.

Think getting him on loan has stuffed his development because we can’t loan him on. A season in the Champ would’ve done wonders for his development.

I didn’t blame him. I’ve not blamed him for the ACL relax man. I do think Howe creates a culture where players really push themselves in all aspects. The worst aspects of that are encouraging players to come back too early heightening their risk of reinjury. Or playing players whilst they are physically burnt out and struggling again leading to injury. Running on an already ruptured ACL is whatever

Why are you so sensitive?? I find it pretty funny that the 2 occasions I can remember a player trying to run off an ACL have both been under Eddie. Wilson came back and did his ACL again within weeeks(might have been the other knee) - pray we avoid that one.

I don’t think this changes much in our transfer plans. We needed a CB before the Botman injury. Actually - we might consider 2 CBs. We might actually sign a cheap CB with the intention to bench. And then the primary CB we’ve been scouting for some time.

You think in 9 months time we won’t have injuries again? You’re optimistic. CB should have always beeen a priority this summer. But with the 2 ACLs it’s now #1 priority.
