  1. They could drop points at Leicester. Leicester are legit awful but they are at a home and Liverpool haven’t been good.
  2. The Brighton game is the one I fear the most. The most difficult team remaining, bad style match up. Beating Leeds would ease the pressure on that result. Beating Leeds in the early kick-off ramps up the pressure on Man Utd. I don't think it adds pressure to Liverpool, they already know they need to win all remaining games.
  3. I said they could win all of their games until the end of the season when they had 7 to go. Considering they only have 3 left, I expected them to look better than they have. They still look vulnerable at the back and have not clicked. I thought the quality of player, no other competitions and players back from injury would boost their level. But they've been much luckier than I expected they might need too. I still expect them to win their remaining games but I wouldn't be surpised if they dropped points anywhere along the way. IMO it's been coming. I also still expect us to get 7 points. I think we could get 8-10 realistically. Can't wait for Leeds.
  4. Even the biggest pessimist in our fanbase would give us a 66% chance of finishing top 4. We could be at match point (or close) by the end of the weekend.
  5. Aye. Next game is huge. Win and win handsomely by two or three goals we are looking good. Draw or a loss puts massive pressure on Brighton. Excited for Leeds. It's season defining.
  6. I thought I was relaxed but I dreamt we lost this 2-1 after taking the lead. I never dream about football
  7. Decent chance Kane gets to 30 league goals this season. He might not even make team of the season.
  8. I think he had good shooting technique. I think Welbeck's biggest issue goalscoring wise was (1) all his finishes seemed impromptu. He didn't have a "finish". Which meant he could score good and odd goals but every shot seemed unique. A lot of the best strikers strike the ball with a similar technique or have a favoured shot. (2) Did too much work outside the box / didn't have that finishers instinct in the box. Under a coach like Emery or Ancelotti, told to keep his game simpler - I wonder if he would've had a better goalscoring streak. I think Isak has that low-drilled shot down to near perfection. Which is great. And Wilson has that goalscorers sniff. Love that for us.
  9. Technique, pace, all round game. That was prime Welbeck. Without the injuries he would have 100 PL goals imo
  10. Yes they can but they are dependent on others dropping points. They would do well to get 59 points and that's unlikely enough to get Europe.
  11. If they don’t get 9 points from their remaining fixtures they’ve absolutely bottled it. Anything less than 75 is poor from them. Our fixtures are slightly harder.
  12. West Ham are shit. Man U just beat Aston Villa. Man U have Wolves, Fulham and Chelsea at home. That’s 72 points there.
  13. Yeh injuries have hit them hard. Fixtures still too easy to fuck up top 4. Brighton fixtures too hard to be a threat.
  14. A bit like Michael Owen at Newcastle then?
  15. As in.. nothing to do with succeeding with PSG?
  16. I'm interested in our approach to pressing and attack. City had a lot of success going long.
  17. He would stay at Barca for less. Would he be at PSG for the same money?
  18. The type that can play a game that is quick, vertical from defence to attack. Suits counter attacks, end-to-end. Athletic, quick passing. Think KDB, Sterling, Haaland, Son, Isak, Joelinton, Klopp Liverpool. Maddison can play on the counter with his passing but he's equally adept playing a slower passing game. But if a game is too end-to-end he can get lost
  19. Gave him the Youtube test..... creativity wise I prefer Maddison by a long shot. A lot of his creativity comes from set pieces and Nkunku turning half chances into goals. Seems a more vertical type player which is good. And of course... Bundesliga tax.
  20. International football is diferent. Argentina had 1 luxury player. PSG have 3.
  21. I remember Michael Owen dickriders talking about 30 goals in 80 appearances.
