I genuinely think people would anticipate Gordon's arrival more had he came off a 14 goal and 8 assist season in the Championship as a 21-year-old. If things go well, he'll score, he'll assist. Anthony Gordon is not proven at any level. And for me - he hasn't passed the eye test. I've never rated him.

He’s almost 22, he has 8 professional career goals. Willock had more at the same age. He gives us an option on both wings. Competition for Willock/Joe as the hardworking LW, competition for Maxi and Almiron as well. The foundations of our success have been built on the foundation of gold lads, hardworking, athletic players and he seems to fit that profile (questions about his fitness and attitude permitting). I really wanted a player with that extra bit of quality that Bruno, Maxi and Isak have. I think that would help cement us at this level and help us against low blocks to finish chances and create better ones. But oh well.

It’s giving Jordon Ibe.
-
What's his name from Stoke did a very decent job at Palace, similar kind of job for Dyche. Except Pulis had pretty much the whole season with that team, a full transfer window & Zaha + Bolasie
-
Not following them closely. Just seems like they have some exciting wingers and midfielders but still playing Struijk, Koch and most of the same back 5 they had in their first PL season.
-
Leeds don't spend money on defenders do they?
-
It's unfair to compare Gordon to the likes of Bowyer and Barton for his behaviour.
-
Leave Spurs at the end of next season and go to Real Madrid for free.
-
That's fair. I just don't rate him as a player.

TBH I would've been happy with Joao Pedro at £25m, would probably be happy with Gordon at a similar price. If we were fighting for 7th not 4th. Ability wise I did like JP more to be honest. In the final 3rd of the season, he was the best Watford forward. I remember him and Gordon were similarly priced in FPL. I paid particular attention to Gordon because of that and I was not impressed.

Tbf to Kane - Levy went back on a supposed gentleman's handshake. This lad just wants out while his boyhood club fights relegation.
-
These are genuinely the peak of his highlights.
-
I guess Bale too. Apparently he can speak Spanish, just a bit shy.
-
I think it’s a confidence issue. Apparently he speaks to the players in English sometimes. I remember an interview where he could clearly understand the interpreters English but didn’t like the translation so he cleared up whatever he meant to say. I think Poch was similar at Southampton. He could speak English he just didn’t for the cameras.

Club open to sell. Player wants to leave. They'll come down. We should go up a little.
-
Why couldn’t James Maddison not turn up for training? Not turning up for training for your club that you’ve been at since a youth and presumably support is BRAZY. Kane did it though and everybody has forgotten.
-
I would get not starting him next week because we are 1-0 up. But West Ham at home. Let's go for it. ASM that is.
-
Just posters speculating here.
-
Look in his thread. There’s questions and assumptions about his personality all the time
-
People do that about ASM all the time.
-
There’s little chance of Forest getting relegated is there? A fully decent team now.
-
He’s a good player. That offside goal was obviously off.
-
People mocked the transfer. Said Wolves got the better deal with Guedes or someone. Wrong.
-
Looked offside from the go.
