Players with limited technical ability always get particular scrutiny from fans. Longstaff, Lascelles, Henderson. Different levels of players but all relatively poor technically.

Aye. With Maddison, ASM & Isak to come into the team. I would be confident that we have enough quality, in depth, to keep the challenge up *serious injuries permitting*. With Gordon in... well i'm looking at ASM & Isak to be all the genuine quality we'll need.

Aye. I think Pope is a better GK. But I understand why Pickford is picked ahead. He's comfortable in the role and is largely excellent for England. His distribution is useful in tight national games. Pope has looked nervous for England. England play in a low-block and don't utilise him being aggressive off his line.

Still would rather spend the money on a random Man City kid.

He's fine where he is. We just need another player of his ilk and quality.

Weston McKennie looks all huff and puff but likely an upgrade on Longstaff and Willock. Edit: Stats look doo-doo though.

Willock, Joelinton, Longstaff, most often Almiron. It’s also the time it takes themselves to setup for a shot, angle their bodies, sort out their feet.

His link up style is beautiful. Drops deep or wide, spins his man. He’s not one to battle the CB. He’ll drop off deep or wide. When it works it’s beautiful. With the touch, turn of pace and gangly legs, he’s an elegant player.

We looked so good when we had Bruno Isak and ASM. We need quality in forward areas. Maddison with those boys. It would be sexy. That Edozie looks a real talent whenever I’ve seen him. Rather a young player like him with obvious quality than Gordon.

Fair. As a fan of him as a player. I would love to see him win trophies and being a part of a great side. I think he has the ability to have a Benzema-like season last year. But that will never happen at Spurs. As miuch as the fans love him now. The second he's no longer performing, they'll want him out the side. He's given them everything.

I unmuted that other persons post to see him say something to the effect of "have we not learned to totally ignore other fans view of their own players? Our transfer guys know better than them." That's not a balanced thought process.

Contracted for another year anyway. It's Tielemans whose contract is done in the summer. He just wants you to blindly agree with every decision the club makes because they know better than you and the Everton fans. The fact the fans are questioning his attitude and fitness is telling for me. At best, i'm giving him Milner comparisons (who was a much better CM than wide player) and he at least had those 2 things by the bucket load.

They have great youth products though.

You still haven't told me. What's he good at? He can run a bit but he doesn't look Craig Bellamy fast. Apparently works hard on the pitch and whoscored says he's good at long shots (not many goals) and set pieces. Tell me what am I missing? He's giving me Milner RW vibes which isn't a bad thing.
