How are they proposing to enforce this? A good few years since I've done away trips on the buses, much prefer the train. However, it's been against the law to drink on a coach to an away game for years under the The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985 but everyone did it anyway and just hoyed all the empties off not long before arriving at the destination. Mayhem, exactly the word used by Gary Neville to describe what was missing from Man Uniteds play in the last 10 minutes of our game at Old Trafford. Arsenal sat back and we launched stuff at them, only takes a decent knock down or defensive slip up in those situations to craft an equaliser and I had no problem with that at all. Only thing I had a problem with all afternoon from us was the sloppy free kick Tiote gave away for their goal which on seeing replays on TV looks even softer and sillier as Carzola was going nowhere and contact was minimal. Was good to see MotD absolve Williamson of any blame for the goal as well although I think Shearer was an axe to grind with Colo so looks to blame him for everything anyway!

A narrow 1-0 defeat to a set-piece goal at home to the team of the season may well read good, but in reality we were poor. We offered little goal threat, played too many long balls and were one paced playing at a low tempo. We contained them well enough but at the expense of getting at them. we did play well, after they blew themselves out we matched them, probably even created the better chances. your bias is getting terrible. I'm voting for you for best non nufc fan in the awards. For the home team we did not play well, the last 15 mins masks a pretty awful insipid performance IMO. I understand the tactic. But really before arsenal score we couldn't even get a touch of the ball, and doing nothing with it. Eh? Hilarious isn't it. He must have missed that save from Sissoko in 1st half injury time for starters, probably downstairs in the bogs at the time.

I didn't know Debuchy got MotM. Well deserved. Very surprised it didn't go to an Arsenal player mind.

I'm voting for you for best non nufc fan in the awards. Did we fuck play well. Playing well was us vs Palace, or us vs Chelsea. This was us playing containment football, the typical Pardew approach. Our best chance came from the face of Remy who chased down a back-pass that their 'keeper made a right balls of clearing. We didn't test their 'keeper once. The last 20 minutes were an eye-sore, players all over the place forcing play or aiming it long to that lump Shola. It was identical to the Chelsea game man. Exactly, if anything Chelsea came at us more and caused us more problems. Go gung ho and attack a team like Arsenal and they'll hammer you. We played well today and deserved a point.

Couldn't see the point in Krul going up for those 2 corners late on. Very rare a keeper has any impact in those situations.

tbf Wenger shut up shop with 20 minutes to go today, if Pardew did that he would be slated. Quite pleased with the performance today overall, thought the result could easily have gone either way. He did that anarl didn't he. Hoying defenders on and sitting deeper and deeper. I thought we played well and were unfortunate to lose. Nil Nil would have been fair as neither team looked like scoring. I thought we edged the 1st half after a shaky start but they edged the 2nd save for the last 10 minutes when they were content to defend for their lives.

Neither team looked like scoring and it took a soft silly free kick to un do us. Looked like Giroud chested it into the net as well which is even more galling. Some strange substitutions as well by us.
