  1. A high percentage of away teams sold out 3K tickets when we were last in the championship including the likes of Plymouth and Bristol City. We'll be a ground that most will want to visit. Average will be about 47K imho.
  2. San Miguel brewed in the UK is rank, only 4.8% due to the change in the VAT/Duty laws a couple of years ago which mean brewers pay less VAT/Duty on beers less than 5% strength. Bottled San Miguel in Spain is much nicer and is either 5.2% or 5.4%. Estrella is nice though and the 660ML bottles of it that look like bottles of red wine we get here are imported, NOT brewed by inbev in Northampton.
  3. In one year in Australia I don't think I saw a single Fosters tap anywhere. Bit late but I've lived here nearly 8 years and haven't seen anyone drink it. It's not available in offys or pubs anywhere I've been. I remember back in the 80's when Channel 4 first started up they used to show The Paul Hogan show and he was always drinking it.
  4. It is, just not the shite we drink lol. Just about every "Continental" lager we have in this country is brewed in bloody Northampton. It's just the more expensive and less well known ones that aren't.
  5. Brewed in Luton and Northampton for the UK market though.
  6. More money than sense. Paid £15K for a watch in Switzerland and failed to declare it at customs at Newcastle Airport and after a tip off was pulled over and had to pay £3K import duty to HMRC.
  7. Delph out of the England squad due to injury so only another 2 to miss out now.
  8. You pay by direct debit for 12 months.
  9. Ditto. £460 for the two, according to my mate who has tickets for him and his laddie, up in Milburn Level 7. He's being robbed, I pay £417 but am in the 13 year price freeze. It's actually only £384 next season as the kids tickets have been reduced. £27.25 a month direct debit for me and £4.75 a month direct debit for the bairn.

  11. Surely what you and many others on here see in Rafa Benitez is not only a manager but a new direction for the club?.. When it takes a relegation just to show a modicum of ambition, however good the news it doesn't signal a change or new direction until that momentum is evident. I know that's unexciting but whilst Rafa is definitely the right man and has always sought perfection as we've known all along, I'm not trusting the club to have done the same. Well, they sought out Rafa in the first place.. Not a typical NUFC thing was it? I read one article where they said that it was Rafa's people that contacted the club first - which wouldn't surprise me considering who we have appointed previously. This.

  13. I saw him walking home from the pub where his nephew's wake had been held last week and he didn't look too clever. Cigarette in one hand and a lad helping him to walk down the hill.
  14. Both my home pc and my work pc (which has an ultra fast fibre line) do exactly the same. Crashes the internet on my phone as well.
  15. Depends on the writer for me, Hope seems to know what he's talking about for the most part. Presume he has decent contacts at the club having worked there writing for the website previously.
  16. They showed one championship game a month if I remember correctly ? I think they showed us 3 times... Opening day of the season against WBA, the game where we thumped Ipswich, and the home game against boro The Sunday before Christmas, Channel 5 have the Highlights rights these days, when we were last in the championship the BBC used to show them on a show that was on after MOTD. Only live games now are on Sky I think.
  17. OTRAS is on more places than FIGS mind. OTRAS is absolutely everywhere.
  18. Check out the go90 app. Doesn't use any of your data plan if you have Verizon, but it will if you use another carrier. It shows all of the BeIN matches though. Anything on Cable like NBC SportsNetwork???
  19. Is there not a stand at Villa park where you can drive under? It's worth noting that Spur's new stadium will have a public carpark underneath it. You can drive under that massive stand at Old Trafford.
  20. Disgrace that Wilshire is in the squad like. Done absolutely jack shit to deserve a place.
  21. To be fair to him at the final whistle he was hugging Sterry and seemed to be congratulating him and telling him to take it all in remember it etc, pointed around the ground etc while talking to him.
  22. Totally agree with this. Watch his face and his eyes are always following the ball. It looks awful in slow motion and in stills but I agree that in the wider context of what happened I think he was genuinely trying to plant his foot down and get his body in front to shield the ball from Walker. I don't think it was a deliberate foul.
