Great idea, we're struggling for goals - let's drop our top scorer. I don't see how you could make a very strong argument if he was dropped TBH, he's been poor for ages. I don't think he was poor against Leicester. Who'd you drop him for? Siem De Jong
-
What has he done to deserve that though?

My tune won't change. SMc was a minor symptom of the disease this club is fighting and, whether we're relegated or not, he'll never be the sole reason we're down. KD had a far more damaging effect on NUFC given the respective circumstances. Aye so damaging in fact that we were finishing and 4th and 3rd a few seasons later. Including players like Solano, Speed, Shay and Dabizas that he signed, by the way. Dalglish's team were aging and on the way down. He had one bad season in which we finished 13th, beat Barcelona and reached a cup final. McClaren has quite possibly gotten us relegated with his cowardice and ineptitude. Dalglish was also sacked when we'd made an unbeaten start to the season purely because we'd drew 0-0 at home with Charlton and the crowd were moaning. Dalglish gets a lot of unfair criticism in my opinion. He was hamstrung on transfers by the PLC that Keegan quit over. He little or no youth or reserve team players coming through and ready to play due to Keegan scrapping the reserve team.
-
He never ever has the ball under control and tries to beat players by just running through them rather than around them.
-
I lost count of the number of times Shelvey went backwards. Ayoze looked lost on the right and sissoko lost on the left but much better when coming inside.
-
Morgan deliberately moved his elbow towards the ball away from his body, blatant penalty. I thought Colback did okay considering how mahrez has roasted many other full backs this season.
-
I thought he was terrible.
-
Didn't look fit at all, was moving very gingerly at first but then got into it and him and SDJ made a difference although by then Leicester were happy to soak up and hit us on the break anyway. Did Bill Cosby touch the ball???????

They scored a offside goal, of course nowt matters other than 1-0 though, might as well bring McClaren back eh? Wasnt actually offside according to some ref on Sky (Dermot Gallagher I think) Hmm, it's a close one. http://i.imgur.com/QbTLzvy.png Taking into account the perspective here, it's likely Lascelles' upper body is just about in line with Vardy. Irrelavent as Taylor headed it clear and it spooned up to vardy who was onside by then. It's the soft free kick that colback gave away that led to it that annoys me.

Mondays always do though. -
Was it Pearson in charge when we lost 6-0 at Man Utd? Or am I re-writing history? Think that was Steve Clarke I'm sure it was Pearson, didn't Ronaldo score 3 and Tevez get 2? It was Pearson. Michael Owen had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside in the first half and it was 0-0 at half time. Clarke was manager when we got humped 5-1 at Old Trafford in between Gullitt leaving and Robson taking over. Pretty sure it was on August Bank Holiday Monday Afternoon.

We'll get battered. -
Everyone except Cathro and Smith has been sacked.

what? Read it properly. If we get relegated he's got a clause. Therefore small print means it's a 10 game tenure.
