  1. Apart from a brief appearance against Villa I can't recall ever seeing him play. He's come with a good reputation but I'm sceptical of players from the Eredivisie as I don't think it's very good and due to how his brother is rattling goals in for fun over there but couldn't hit a barn door for us.
  2. Anything can happen. If the shackles are off we may play some open attacking attractive football, but at the same time leave ourselves wide open to get pummelled. Home win for me like.
  3. When he was a student he used to write for The Mag and sell The mag on home matchdays, as did Martin Hardy.
  4. I think that is the reason like. HBA played in the U21's as an over aged player whereas Street is/was Under 21 at the start of the season.
  5. I couldn't give a crap about standing in the rain with piss running down the steps, I would rather do that than sit in the morgue we have now. While you were watching Glen Keeley and John Bird, most people were watching Macdonald, Nattrass, Kennedy, Smith, Tudor, Hibbitt, Terry Mac and one or two others, numpty. We sold most of those players as soon as someone dangled anything resembling a decent offer in front of us and they were happy to go to more ambitious clubs than us and win things. Nowts changed between then and now except I'm a bit older and the stadium is a now a decent stadium rather than a shit tip.
  6. She's swapping Morpeth for Milan tbf. I'd be fucking furious as well. I'm surprised she's making a fuss mind, I thought Milan was a WAGS ultimate destination.
  7. Get angry. Not arsed, for God's sake stop being a cum sponge for MA et al. Santons shit anyway man.
  8. Not arsed we have 5 senior defenders for the rest of the season, one of which is Mike Williamson? What the fuck is wrong with people? 5? We have 4 players who can play left back, Dummett, Haidara, Colback and Raylor.
  9. A not very good right footed left back leaves when we have 4 players who can already play in that position. I'm not arsed as I didn't rate Santon anyway and he's not likely to shift Haidara and Dummett anyway.
  10. We won without really breaking sweat, Hull are absolute total and utter shit and deserve to go down just on that performance alone.
  11. Is that Abeid winning the ball at the start of that move? Think so, great tackle and excellent pass after winning the ball as well.
  12. In that case I would agree with you, but it's still hard to let go of something you may have had for 10+ years and becomes part of your weekly routine and something you do with your dad / mates / partner. Do you still enjoy it? is the question that's probably most important within that scenario then. I still enjoy it and won't stop going. I've been going since 1977 and have a season ticket since 1982 and really can't envisage ever giving it up.

to the point. I agree, I honestly cannot see how it's possible for him to be in charge past the summer. Even our fans won't allow it. Same was said about Pardew, within two months most of the fanbase were lodged up his arse. We're already seeing justification for him: open attacking football against Southampton, 20 minutes against Chelsea... If the players string two passes together at any point in the next five months, there'll be a significant minority wanting him in full time. As I've said before, Carver doesn't have the nous to placate and deceive the fans to anything like the extent Pardew did. Nor does he have a 5th place finish to defend his position with. Aye, but he can role out the "I worked for the "best" manager this clubs ever had " line over and over again completely ignoring Joe Harvey's achievements at the club.

He is showing Joe Harvey a total lack of respect as well by keep referring to SBR as this clubs greatest ever manager.

4 weeks to come up with this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. He's foreign and was a good player.
  17. Thought Juve had knocked it down and moved to a new stadium.
  18. I watched Ajax v Feyenoord yesterday and Ajax put in a very NUFC'esque Derby performance. At home they had 3 shots in 90 minutes against Feyenoords 16.
  19. I think Aaron Hughes was a better left back than both Enrique and Bernard.
  20. London. I'm sure it was him but must assume it was someone who looked very much like him.
  21. David Haye on my train. He's a big unit mind, bigger than i thought.
  22. Didn't Dummett go off with an injury on Saturday? He went straight down the tunnel holding his leg but I've not heard it mentioned since. He left the ground on crutches. Was holding his hamstring and had signalled to come off ages before he did but it took Williamson an absolute age to get ready to come on. He's still managed to travel to Dubai mind! And Colo hasn't gone to Argentina either, was at the U21 game last night.
  23. Yip, and they've waited until there's a 3 week break until a home game and the team are away to the middle east to announce in order to bury the bad news like they always do.
