Newcastle United vs Burnley - 01/01/15 @ 3:00PM (not on TV)

I hope that this is what you think Carver will go with? And not what you would pick... I'd play Cabella instead of Armstrong and would actually play Riviere instead of Gouffran. -
I am in total agreement with Mick on this which is most unusual.
-
has the potential for a hilarious slapfight on the sideline with Sammy after subbing him off If the manager is going to be English, I vote Sho. He's Nigerian. He's both! Whatever he is I didn't want him on the pitch as a player and I certainly don't want him in the dug out as manager!
-
Isn't he well thought of as a goalkeeping coach in the game though?

We will want compo for Woodman and Stevens. It also means that Charnley has to get his finger out and recruit replacements which he most likely won't want to have to do and won't know where to start in so doing either.
-
I want swear and shout abuse at you but I can't be arsed with another ban!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
come home no 23 PLEASE GOD NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'm still at work so I'm not arsed anyway.
-
I'd rather let the new manager make that call. I wouldn't give much weight to Pardew's judgement. I agree, he seems to have scored goals for the Under 21's every time he's been near the pitch.
-
And more importantly available for nowt ie not currently employed so not attracting a compensation fee.

Maybe its an age thing or something, but it really pisses me off people on here calling people mongs when they support their team, i'm 52 now and have missed a handfull of matches in any comp since 1979, i ,and many many like me have been through the seymour regime ,the mckeag regime, such illustrious managers as richard dinnis, bill mcgarry etc etc. this was all watched in one of the worst grounds in the country, with no cover on any standing areas for years. As a bit of a lurker(mainly due to a pathetic typing speed ) I've noticed on average there is about 1-200 ish members regularly on here, with a small number of posters telling other fans who have attended for years that they are a cancer on the club and other tasteful comments, the thing i find strange is that when john ( a lad i knew quite well from hundreds of away games) got murdered going to new zealand to support HIS team everyone was saying what a brilliant fan he is, but because we support a club who has a very strong hardcore ( all similar to john, although he took it further than everyone)and like me will never miss a home game , we are mongs and a cancer on OUR club. As i said i knew john quite well and he would never disrespect anyones opinion, but i honestly think he wouldnt have liked the abuse and the sp campaign. As i say ,it might be an age thing and maybe i've been worn down over the years but i find it incredible that people on here and other social media want us to lose and find no pleasure in us winning, i also know that a certain 'superfan' as some of you mockingly call his like would never ever ever want us to lose. Yeah I think its an age thing. No it bloody isn't. Some of the shite on here wanting us to lose was embarrassing and incredibly spoilt and helps to fuel the belief among other fans that NUFC fans are deluded.

Burnley have sold out the full allocation of 3000+ so we'll close to capacity. -
Too injury prone. He was injury prone when we bought him, that was why he was relatively cheap and no one else was willing to take a punt on him.
-
Except of course we tend to lose when we get over confident.

This lot will not be a pushover. Unlucky to lose to Liverpool and did very well to claw back a 2-0 deficit to draw at Man City. Potential Banana Skin and one on which all of Pardews supporters in the media will be hoping we slip on. -
Unless we lose of course. Which is highly likely given Carvers record last season when filling in for Pardew during his ban.

Alex Sabella??

Lukaku has been out of form though, in and out of the team a fair bit. -

I also think they expected Alnwick to come for the cross whereas he was rooted to his line. -
Disgrace. Coleman had him in a hold Hulk Hogan would have been proud of. Was only trying to get free.
-
Lawrie Sanchez
-
Oh aye, and someone else I know was told Lawrie Sanchez would be our next manager ages ago. He's already bought a house in Ponteland in readiness.
-
Don't like the last bit!!

McCoist is on Gardening Leave though, paid by Rangers for the next 12 months and still therefore technically employed by them. Only way to get out of it would be for Rangers to pay his contract up which they can't afford to do and if they did by way of a loan from Ashley would be under heavy scrutiny. He's only managed in a pub league as well with a team that (prior to their fall from grace) had virtually zero competition. And he's an ex mackem.
