He did control the ball well under pressure but then failed to play the easy ball too many times. He'll learn, and will be a handful. Well it's not much use holding the ball up if you don't find a team mate with the pass. I've no doubt he'll get better with more experience of the premier though. Well it's hard when no one makes a run to support him.

Looked extremely slow tbf Still loved that little dribble when he went at Shaw.

Great game. Him and Taylor looked solid.

Obertan is the worst player in this league.

must start in this team

Niger de Jong isn't that bad really. In international football you can go a long way with 1 or 2 brilliant players. Robben was basically Holland's only attacking threat once Van Persie did his usual knockout stages disappearing act and they nearly got to the final I don't disagree. But you see a lot of "X is a Y international" as if that makes them good footballers for NUFC & PL by default on this forum. NDJ isn't that bad at all. However, 81 caps for Johnny Heitinga is unacceptable. The man played in the WC final right? That was some awful team. You are so very full of s***. There are thousands of people here, that spend pretty much every day arguing with one another. There is no default. I got a 24 hour ban for less. This is an abusive post with little provocation. Generally, the forum has views and agrees on a lot of things btw. Abusive. Come on TCD.

Call ups: http://i.imgur.com/gworcT7.png Take it back. That is horrible tbf.

Think we'll see Aarons for Gouffran. But yeah otherwise that team.

Hazard or Rooney as captain. Can't decide.

Love Mitrovic, the crazy b****** Now refusing to be in the middle after misplacing the pass

Why on earth would you play Thauvin, a left winger, on the right. He will be cutting in at every opportunity to get the ball on his left peg, so no crosses from the right for Mitro. Because he's played more as a right-winger in his career, no? Genuine question mark btw.

Didn't watch them week in week out before Neymar so no idea. The amount of money spent on him is crazy regardless. Don't see what he'll offer them since Mourinho likes his winger on the right to be defensive. Actual intent in the final third. You don't get that from Willian. Mourinho would like a similar ethic to Willian with the instincts in the final third of a Schurrle. But man, Oscar was a direct player who loved to score goals, what happened to him? These guys are the sum of their manager. Where is Cuadrado? Mourinho doesn't want anything else other than have all the players in the world. He can only play one way and one way only. I hope Pedro isn't a massive flop because I like him as a guy on the pitch the way he behaves, but he's going to be a big flop unless Mourinho changes his ways.

It's a 4-3-3 central battering ram, f*** this Brazilian passing the ball and having a proper system s***. Keegan tactics these, man. Tbf, we don't have any proper system.

I'm glad Sho'time ain't our manager. Mitrovic on the right?

Our most dependable squad player. We'll come to regret this, but he wanted to go so there's little we could've done. In what way? I know you have some love for him, but he's been below average for over 2 seasons now. Don't think you'll regret it at that price. Huge money for a 28 year old that has been in some declined form for almost 2 years. 2 seasons? The season before the last was one of his most productive since he's been a senior player. And the one thing that made his last season "bad" was not being nearly as good as Neymar-Messi-Suárez, something that happens to 99% of professional footballers. That's why he wanted to leave, he needs playing time to secure a spot at the Euros. He's roughly 1 in 3 throughout his career, for a winger that's been the fourth man upfront for several seasons of his career, that's a pretty damn great return. And how well did Barcelona do that season? Let's be honest, it's one thing to score, it's another to contribute to the team winning stuff. For the past two seasons I've thought he's been quite poor in comparison to his teammates. I haven't felt like I've seen Pedro be consistently good as he was under Pep. Like you say that might be because he's been benched, but even during spells where Neymar and Messi were out I never felt he was very good during those periods. Only my opinion and maybe I'm being harsh since it's basically a comparison to Sanchez, Suarez and Neymar.

If you think that's odd, listen to this. 2-0. Can't listen. Can only read that.

Alex Sandro is one of these overrated Brazilians. He's good, but nowhere near worth that fee.
-
He's really not though tbf Kanji. I know you have a bit of love for him, but both for PSG and for Liverpool he's been underwhelming. With that said he does have the ability to have a great game or so, but he's clumsy and quite bad with the ball.

This team, Palace and the Mackem are the teams to beat this season. Mackems, Pardew, van Gaal and Froggy all deserve to rot.
