He is, got injured though before the Confederations Cup, been injured a bit. Probably our best striker prospect. Still, needs to go to Europe and develop further.

Everyone over Jo. Luis Fabiano is probably our best striker, but his head is somewhere else at the moment, been picking up stupid red cards and niggling injuries. Fred is good enough for a Confederations Cup and then at least a QF in the World Cup. We'll need to get Pato or Damiao into form if we want to compete next year though. And Deuce, no Pato in awful form, isn't as good as Jo. Pato is actually in such a bad form I'd rather play Shola ffs. Headless chicken is what he is at the moment.

VI, is it hard to get tickets for Barcelona games? Especially early in the season? Maybe it might become impossible now with Neymar and Messi there, but thinking of going to Barcelona at the end of August possibly and would love to catch a game.
-
Still can't believe Coutinho went for only £8m after the 6months he had at Espanyol. I know he has his weaknesses, but still. Already adapted to this league. Would love him in the national team. Lucas/Bernard/Oscar Coutinho/Oscar Neymar ? ? ? ? ? Would be such a good front 4.

He also paid like a billion for Borini.

Sounds like my experience last week at Maracana, except the closes kiosk there was like 30-40 mins away from the stadium so I bought a new one from some random guy wanting to get rid of an extra one he had.

Venezuela in a world cup is . Ecuador is not too shabby tbf Deuce, even away from home they've only had couple bad results in the last years or so. They have Valencia, Caicedo and Benitez who are all good players and I think they'll make it along with Argentina, Chile, Colombia and hopefully Uruguay/Peru (through playoffs). I'd love Peru for the simple fact of not being a big footballing nation as well as having Farfan, Pizzaro and Guerrero up top.

Was the best french player against Brazil, only one to really cause us trouble and seemed like he would be exactly what we need.
-
Don't waste your tears on Toivonen. Very limited.
-
 €6m for him? Might as well have spent that on Shola.

Just caught up reading the rest of the comments on here, and regarding Debuchy, who thinks he had a good game? He could've easily have gotten two red cards as well as giving away a stupid penalty. Going forward he's decent, but he's a bit hot headed and was making some rash decisions against Neymar who was having troubles going past him but still got the better of him most of the times after the first 10-15minutes of the game. Cabaye was also invisible for 90% of his time on the pitch. Benzema and Payet were the only dangerous players in their team, and we talk a lot about Brazil but France is in serious trouble right now, their team is quite weak and might get a good team in an eventual WCQ playoff tie. Also Mathieu is a horrible left back Hulk got past him almost every time.

Definitely, although problem is none of those players are exceptional either, but they sure are a hell lot better options than what we got.
-
Our striking options are embarrassing. However, luckily we have quite a lot of choices in wingers/am positions. Bernard, Neymar, Lucas, Oscar, Hulk, Hernanes, Coutinho, Jadson, Osvaldo, Kaka (??), Ronaldinho (??), Wellington Nem, Willian. We lack however a great number 9... Just like in 82... But we had the guy in your avatar + Falcao, Socrates, Toninho Cerezo, and also Serginho who was a better goalscorer than both Fred and Leandro Damiao. That team is probably the greatest team ever not to win something and possibly the greatest national side of all times.
-
? Actually thinking about it, there's not ONE GREAT #9 in the whole world.
-
That team is far worse than this team though in general. It's actually one of the worst World Cup winning sides ever.

Must be, but Jo has been scoring for fun in 2013, so I think that's the only reason. Bringing and in-form guy rather than bringing in someone by name like Pato or someone who hasn't scored that much like Diego Costa. Against the local teams in one of your bat-s*** crazy competitions or..? Copa Libertadores. Top scorer. To be honest, if I was picking I'd have none of them. Jo doesn't bully defenders either, he's so thin and pointless. If Fred gets injured I can see Hulk being played up top or Neymar. Worst part is I just seem incapable of naming good brazilian strikers. Luis Fabiano is probably with Fred the two best strikers we have right now, but both are old. Fabiano should've been called up instead of Jo.

Basketball Flip is a mother-in-laws dream.

Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay and Spain to go through to the semi's. Spain to win it and then it can be any of the other three in the final.
-
He's an extremely inconsistent player too. Has some absolute shitters at times.
-
Fuck off, how is he overrated? He's had one bad game in quite awhile now and add the fact that no one knows him. Overrated, what a load of piss. I don't agree, we seem to know how we want to play but there's a complete lack of cohesion between the players still. We want to play at a slower pace and create with width. The lack of movement is something that was integrated by Mano into this team which is being difficult to erase from the squad, but we'll get better by the time.
-
It's fucking horrible. Even worse is David Luiz positioning. Neymar is actually getting the better of Debuchy though, if it was a competitive match Debuch would've been off. He's had two or three bookable offences already on Neymar. Oscar, Paulinho and Luiz Gustavo are having extremely difficult to create anything. Our only creative player has been Marcelo.

Its clear i need to read through the last few pages i mean wtf Skimmed through the last page when I woke up, I'd advice you not too as it's a complete waste of space in this thread.

Bank of England scored for Senegal. 1-0 right now against Angola.
