He's definitely a good manager, but to tell me his teams are very creative is beyond me. Basically you fall for the eyebrow, right?

His teams are exactly like you say, counter-attacking teams. Score the first goal and they'll sit back and wait to kill the game by counter-attacking. Good manager, but horrible philosophy (does get him the results though) in my opinion.

Ancelotti's Chelsea and Milan sides very creative. You're out of your mind. Don't know why I'm even responding to this. Very creative ffs

Another boring manager at Real then...
  5. He'd be a great addition there. It's hard not to look at a team like Villa and be a little jealous. Full of good young players, excellent management, really on the upswing. 25 goals and 11 assists the past two seasons without having a set position. He would waltz straight into our starting XI. Highly talented player. Unless you're taking the p*ss, in which case, blah. Definitely talking about Toivonen.
  6. If you are talking about Belhanda, I am just going to inform you that I vehemently disagree with your position and leave it at that. Toivonen.
  7. Don't know if it's been mentioned around here but Tahiti was in Chile last night preparing for the Confederations Cup and played a friendly against Chiles u-20 national team. Result? Well they lost 7-0. How the fuck are they going to cope against Uruguay, Spain and Nigerias national teams?
  8. I think it's a known fact that he does far better against better side than inferior teams. Should be Anita who should play against inferior teams (if there are any inferior teams to us )

Expectations should be enormous for what he has achieved at this age, I'm so glad he chose Barcelona where he can be second fiddle to Messi. I hope he will do extremely well for you guys and I can see you guys running away with the title even faster next season. You have all except a new CB in place. Neymar will also get the consistency to play in a team without being interrupted by playing internationals all the time. I mean he only played 17 of 38 games last season in the Brazilian league and still managed to score 14 goals and have 8assists, in a not so good Santos team. Pretty sure he'll have his occasional days where he is completely unplayable, but he'll also have those days where nothing works for him. I think a fresh start was needed for him to revitalise his career.

Like I said, he comes across extremely well in interviews and is an extremely likeable guy off the pitch. Problem is when he does his stuff ON the pitch, let's hope the times of humiliating the opposition is gone and as he says he's a father now and has to be a good father figure for his son. (not that it helped Suarez...)

The thing is no one is the joke around here if this deal works, Santos got probably the best deal they could for him with the achievements and contract situation and if Barcelona wins the treble or something next season it will be worth €57m. So you're still in the wrong for now

Neymar is such a f***ing superstar, look at him. Too bad he's not as good of a footballer right now... Neymar trying to speak some catalan in the presentation Won the fans over when he said ''I'm here to win and help Messi keep being the best in the world.''

He compromised the team even in the portuguese league. After some errors Javi Garcia started playing alongside Luisão whenever David Luiz got the ball forward. Very gifted technically but overrated when he played in Lisbon. Haven't tracked his development since. He's a very good footballer David, but he does lack a bit of defensive brain, luckily we have Thiago Silva at the back helping him a lot in the national team and I think Terry has been a good help for him at Chelsea as he keeps improving defensively. I think his athleticism helps him out a lot defensively, he'll need to improve a lot if he wants to be a top player when he reaches his 30s.

Anyone seen him play, except Mole (told me he's seen him 50 times ). What type of player is he?
  16. Honestly Deuce, I won't argue that some of your athletes might be more athletic because that's how US sports work, but you'll find equally athletic players somewhere around more spread out in SA and Europe because you don't pick the best players based on athleticism like in the US. Also to tell us that how you're born doesn't affect anything is beyond me. Some people grow up with fucking wooden legs, they cant bend it properly so they can't shoot a ball properly, try to make these wooden legs kids become great footballers // topic

Roberto Carlos to Sivasspor in Turkey as their new manager. Will be interesting to see what kind of football he'll try to implement. Can't see him being too defensive, would be quite funny if he loved the 1-0 considering the type of player he was, but then again Mancini loves those 1-0 or 0-0 and he was an offensive player.

Very good? He had couple good chances, but the whole team was playing well for the first 20-25mins, but there were so many opportunities where we could counter attack and he just slowed the game up to try and take on the defenders and failed. Was quite embarrassing, Brazil needed more fluidity and directness in their game yesterday and he was one of the reasons none of that was working properly.

?? He's played almost 10 games for PSG at the beginning and then had couple of niggling injuries which left him out. Been very good for them this season, watched them a lot because of swedish tv obsession with Ibra so PSG games are always on. He's been more productive than anyone in that team bar Ibra, contributing with a goal every 2 games. And also he's only made one cameo the whole season. In the Olympics he was on the bench and didn't do much whenever he came on, so I don't know how he impressed you in the Olympics except showing the obvious burst of speed he has and some technical moves. His all around game is much better, and whenever he got the ball yesterday he tried something.

I know, actually I have yet to see him have a good game against proper opposition. We don't have the kind of money reported in those David Luiz rumors. I think he's not the defender we need either, too much like Piqué in style. We should look for a long term Puyol replacement. I've seen him absolutely murder the best defenders in South America, but that was over 12 months ago. I hope Messi will show him some stuff.

Moreso than Lucas Moura, yes. Neymar has scored 136 goals for Santos and 20 for Brazil. He was the key player in leading Santos to the Libertadores. At this stage of their respective careers he has been far more productive both in goalscoring and creatively than Lucas has. Lucas is very talented but he's even rawer and less mature as a player than Neymar is - and hasn't been consistently productive at PSG or at Sao Paulo. I do understand where you are coming from, but Neymar hasn't had a very good game in almost 6months or more now, while Lucas has been a threat every time he's stepped onto a pitch either for PSG or Brazil. Also he's not a less mature player than Neymar, he's a far more mature and tactically aware than Neymar. Neymar has the bigger upside than both but I think at the moment Lucas is developing better than Neymar who has stagnated a lot over the last 6-12 months. I hope Neymar going to Barcelona will change that. Anyhow, both should be starting together with Oscar who for me is possibly Brazils best player the moment.
