Eh, no. This is the general feeling among my friends and family. There's no one worse in Spanish football than Jordi Alba at the moment. Absolute prick.
-
True, they seem to have great support as well. As for Pato, I don't know, against Boca he came in in the 2nd half and did well but his confidence is shut man. I still think he's capable of scoring quite a lot in Brazil and going back to Europe, was probably one of the best Brazilian players until Zlatan arrived at Milan. Lost completely his footballing IQ as well as injuries killing his confidence. Seems a bit scared at times, but if he can get minutes off the bench for another 3-4 months while they try to figure out how to fix his injury problems I think he might still come back good.

There are four players in the world I can't stand. Pepe, van Bommel, Alba and Marchena. However, I can still admit Pepe is a good defender and if he could keep his head calm he would be seen as a better player. I can understand the other 3 but why poor old Jordi Alba? His face and attitude. Exactly like Marchena, can't take a loss and always being an absolute cunt when he's not winning. Although I still hate Marchena above anyone else.

Should get a fair bit, because excluding his rages he's a very good defender who can do a decent job as an anchor man in midfield too.
-
Think whole red, but same red obviously, might look decent on the pitch.

Ridiculous, their name is on the cup IMO. Getting the rub of the green, can come back from behind and have the 2 highest scorers in the competition with the best player left in it providing them. I think whoever wins the tie Atletico - Newells will be champions. I'm hoping for a Brazilian team even if I detest Ronaldinho nowadays. They were very lucky to go through though, the amount of saves Victor made was unbelievable. I still believe Corinthians was the best team in the competition and got absolutely robbed. You won't find a better organized team and a South American team that can bring Pato off the bench (even if he's shit by European standards) says quite a lot.

? The year Ronaldo won the World Cup by scoring 8 goals as well as scoring 7 in 10 for Inter and then another 1 in 1 for Real almost or the one Zidane got the year after? Oh wow didn't realise we were talking about the old Ballon d'Or. How the fuck did Nedved get it. Tbf it was harsh on Henry to finish runner up in the FIFA and France Football prize...2003 he was clearly the best in the world.

Some transfer rumours from the Brazilian league. Sao Paulo is pursuing Fernando Gago or Felipe Melo to replace Denilson if he has to go back to Arsenal. Internacional is pursuing Julio Baptista from Malaga and are waiting him to lower his salary request just like Sao Paulo have been when talking about Melo. (I'd guess this means Leandro Damiao might be leaving as they already have D'Alessandro and Forlan playing off him) Atletico MG chairman says it will be hard to keep Bernard after the Libertadores, so it's expected he'll be leaving.

It was certainly one of the best, everything he touched turned into goal, and he wasn't even considered the best in the world at the time.

Another absolutely amazing finish to a quartfinal game, this time Atletico Mineiro went through on away goals (agg.3-3) after their goalkeeper saved a penalty in the 93rd minute.

Ah, alright. Yeah 9 months man, and apparently they agreed that he didn't push the ref but that it should still be enforced. Why can't the FA be as harsh, imagine Pardew having gotten a 9months suspension
-
Apparently Ibra made an ultimatum that if Leonardo was appointed he'd leave. Think that's harsh on Leonardo since he has done decently at his the Milan clubs especially Inter where he had an excellent record and he likes his team to play an attractive style, which is probably why if Ancelotti leaves he'd like Zico at the helm (according to brazilian newspapers) as Pellegrini has gone to City.
-
Probably from watching the games. But 3p deduction is so harsh too. Pardew got what, like one game for shoving the ref? Should've given him 9months ffs.
-
This country is a piece of shit, that's why I live in Europe.
-
Has it been said that Leonardo got 9 months of suspension for the pushing of the ref after their game against Lorient I think it was? Harsh. And Paris SG are deducted 3p next season... Fuck is this crap
-
I have tickets to the game . This is embarrassing. I do believe though it's only a matter of pushing the organisers to have extra in place for public safety and that tomorrow it will be given a green light.

You should chose Coritiba without a shadow of a doubt. Immense supporters and atmosphere when they play at home. Green Hell is one of the coolest supports around. Picture below, spoiler because of size.

It's excellent. I absolutely love that kit and I usually don't care about kits.

Right now i would take a PL midfielder if we are after experience. Mulumbu? That Chile one? Bound to be a few others for reasonable prices who would do Tiotes job without 48 cards a season. I'd take a look at Roger Espinoza from Wigan. He's not a defensive midfielder though. Except he is... Hasn't played DM for Wigan though has he? Played higher up the pitch whenever he played centrally for Wigan this season. Does look like he played as a defensive midfielder in the MLS though

I'd love to see Benzema leave Real. Benzema needs to go to a team where he can be the main man, such an excellent player.

Mole I don't want to be that guy, but sometimes I just can't believe you've seen all these players play over 50 times. Cavani is great in the build up as he is capable of getting deep and getting the ball and turning and opening up spaces. He's actually excellent in opening up space and makes smart runs. To say he's better in direct play isn't necessarily true, sure Napoli plays a bit more direct than many teams in the Italian league, but I have no doubt that Cavani would fit perfectly into Chelsea as he does very well wide where he has played many times for Uruguay. Getting someone like him is exactly what a team like Chelsea needs as they have Lukaku, Ba and Torres in the central position and Moses is the next in line in the wide positions. They'll be able to rotate a lot at the front especially if Torres goes and Schurrle arrives too.
