Also reacted to that. If they want to find bargains as backups than fine, but they have to find quality player to show ambition.

Ask what Milan fans? The real Milan fans in Italy have said that it's weird Pato doesn't get playing time. He was their best performer behind probably Nesta and Silva when he played last season. Ever since Zlatan got to Milan he has become a worse player purely based on the fact that he doesn't look interested, Pato that is. This is from the Gazzeta dello Sportiva : 'Con Ibra in panca e Pato in campo il Milan avrebbe vinto la partita. Il doppio palo colto dallo svedese é in realtà un errore di Ibra. Il Papero l' avrebbe messa dentro.' Talking about a match two weeks ago I think. Btw, Zlatan looking useless today once again

Carlton Cole??? Christ...

Just found interesting and useless stats: Pato has played 943 minutes this season scoring 9 goals all in open play. Zlatan has played 2014 minutes while scoring 13, 2 as penalties. That means that Pato scores every 105 minutes while Zlatan scores every 155 minutes. You take away his two penalty goals and he scores every 184 minutes. Robinho has played 1517 minutes scoring 9 goals, meaning he scores a goal every 169 minutes. With that said, both Robinho and Pato are better goalscorer than Zlatan. And Brazilians rule the world. (useless stats, I know) but just shows how overrated Zlatan is as a goalscorer.

punk77 you surely can't have played football in your life. Are you seriously telling me that the goals he has scored are quality??? Are you for real? Of all of them only the goal against Birmingham where he showed great power and leap to beat the defender is really a good goal. I mean against WH the first one is nothing special, a bouncy ball is generally very easy to score on and the angle wasn't that hard. Also he would've been fucked if Green had not stayed on the line. The 2nd goal was shoot it and hope it goes in, the 3rd goal was well taken but nothing exceptional. Against Arsenal the same as the 2nd goal against WH shoot it and hope it goes in although he did well to get there. But to tell me that he is quality footballer but lacks concentration as his biggest problem is ridiculous. He can't move with the ball at his feet when under pressure. He has no technical abilities at all as he can't beat a man. He's good with his head but will lose out against many defenders and his shot is weak for most part. Another thing is that you give him credit for scoring with his wrong foot to seconds later calling him two-footed. Come on.

How is it possible to shoot a spotkick over the goal. Never understood that. Its fucking useless. Cashley Cole has done it, great.

Anelka

TITS or GTFO!

Spot on.

I was actually wondering....if Enrique does leave how much would you guys pay for Baines? £10 million less for what Enrique goes for
-
100% of Ramires missing a decisive penalty.
-
Enriques replacement if he leaves

Essien & Lamps have credit in the bank as we have saw them play many great games, score many goals & have great seasons most of us not seen Ramires do anything. Pound for pound Chelsea got more mileage out of Mineiro Most shit I have ever read. That doesn't justify his the non-existant criticism of Essien and Lampard. I mean you are not criticized based on past merits, come on ffs. Ramires came to this league and has been written off even before adapting. Look at Colo and so on. It takes time to adapt but of late he has been playing very well and gets stick for nothing. Had people been saying this pre-new years time than sure, but he's been playing well every since the new year shift in a Chelsea team playing below par. And why is Anelka still on the bench?
-
Started watching the 2nd half well at around the 50 mark, and by the looks of your comment Ramires must have really stepped up his game in the 2nd half. Been very good the last 25 minutes or so. I've been very critical of Ramires but he has been better for every game and Chelsea fans I talk to agree that he has been very average until lately but that players like Essien and Lampard skip criticism due to their names.
-
Agree with the two last statements. Williamson is an average defender.

First of all two strikers are priorities. Then we need cover for both well at least left-back position. And then a cb. We will survive with Jonas, Nolan, Gosling, Guthrie, Tiote, Barton, Ben Arfa and Routledge as well if he's not sold. So midfield should not be the first priority. Two strikers for the starting eleven is the first priority and then a cb and a cover lb. But we'll probably sign no one.

Rivaldo is probably the most underrated player and I've stated that many times. People forget how much he did for the team, his left foot was deadly. I will never forget the fact that people talked more about Oliver Kahn and Ronaldo in the 2002 WC when in fact Rivaldo was the best player by a mile there. What a fucking player. Figo on the other hand was also a great player, probably one of the best portuguese players of all time. But I'd still pick Messi any day over him.

Honestly, if you look at todays market than he's definitely worth around £15 million. No doubt about it, he's been our most important player and he has shown quality as a defensive midfielder. I don't see any defensive midfielder performing better than him in the league this season to be honest. And only reason he gets yellow cards and those aren't stupid is because the midfield always gets out of position due to lack of pace so he does it on purpose to stop counter attacks.

Tell you what! Forget Fabregas. Jack Wilshere is your man. Was thinking about this year. Wilshire would so so well in that team.
-
You're betting on potential here. 12 months ago he looked like the next big thing but he has stagnated a bit and has had a bad season so far (admittedly the whole team is underperforming). He's your classic "dribble until kingdom come" Argentine winger, but he really has amazing first touch and close control, but needs to mature and release the ball sooner. How much do you think Sevilla would want for him? They'd try to fleece you, they drive a hard bargain. BUT after not qualifying for the CL this season and in danger of not doing it again this one, they'll need the cash. As for what amount of money... given some recent sales and current form of the player I'd say €12m-€15m, their asking price this summer was reportedly €20m-€30m Rather put that on Zoggy but I am the only one in the world probably.
-
Man Utd don't have a hope in hell in winning the CL this season imo. ? Surely the 2nd or 3rd best team in the tournament. And the fact that they're consistent is good for a two match phase. Barcelona and Real Madrid are probably the strong favourites, but I can see Man Utd and Inter (who has grown a lot during the last month) are slightly behind. But then again its the CL and Shaktar, Arsenal, Bayern, Chelsea, Tottenham, Milan well basically anyone can win.
-
Still open, and despite the Juve loss you are carrying the momentum and Milan aren't looking as strong as they did in 2010. Napoli might nick it, would be grand. Cavani > Maradona if they nick it .

Ridiculous, Barca lost because they missed at least 5 chances they should've scored on. If Barcelona is effective n Camp Nou it will finish 5-0 or so. Messi was pretty self-fish at times last night too. No team puts away every chance we had a couple of moments ourself and (if you're not English i apologise) but 'self-fish' Hell, that was bad. I apologize. Fucking hell. That's embrassing, I'll blame the fact I had just come up from bed.
