  1. I’ve enjoyed it because it’s about Newcastle, however, the editing hasn’t been the best. Wished it was slightly more football oriented, more ”All or Nothing”-styled. Also, don’t mind the owners at all, not sure what people were expecting from a documentary about the club. Actually quite pleasently surprised that Amanda and Mehrdad seems very involved in the club and while obviously they won’t portray them differently, it does seem like the players genuinely get along with them and that they genuinely care about the club. Then again, Mike Ashley seemed the same from the start and he ended up fucking us for over a decade.
  2. I kind of agree Guy has already headed the ball, see those types of plays all the times. If Onana had punched the guy in the face then fine, but kind of clatters into him after the ball has been played and doesn’t really affect the play. maybe I should look at it for a fifth time though. I might or might not be biased as Onana secured me 9p in FPL and Man U will be shite this season regardless.
  3. am I the only one that didnt think it was a penalty?

    Alexander Isak

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Isak has the potential to be the 2nd best striker in this league, but he has a very long way to go before he reaches the like of Haaland, Mbappe and Vini Jr. I just hope he can stay fit for the entirety of this season. 25+ goals isn’t impossible.
  5. Nah, he’s essentially retiring at 31 just like the rest that have gone there. Sad state of affairs
  6. The old Real Madrid possibly.
  7. Still a kid mentally. One day a documentary like the Britney Spears will be done about the kid.
  8. Neymar close to Al Hilal. Basically retiring at 31 with no CL title in 8 years nor a WC. 80m euro per season for two seasons. His father and advisors have officially killed his career.
  9. Was just messing about. That being said, there are at least 50 footballers that are worse in the PL for what its worth.
  10. Didn’t look good at all today, but Tonali looked absolutely disastrous against Aston Villa just a few weeks ago and was really good today. Remember him having a terrible game at Brighton away last season as well and the next game he was great again. An important thing is that for him its okay to have a bad game when the others are doing well, but a great game when everyone else is off could still win us matches.
  11. Already have their ”replacement” (you’re never going to replace Kane tbh) in place tbh. Be shocked if they don’t give Richarlison 6months at the very least as their starting striker. He knows how to score, and works hard, only question is if he can keep fit and stay onside this season.
  12. Why not? Decent player and who else do they got apart from Enzo in central midfield that is 100% sure to start?
  13. No one’s ever going to do what De Bruyne does for them, but I think he could offer something different when Kevin is injured or resting. He’s a talented player and hopefully Pep can get the best out of him. At times he has been fantastic for the national side, just very inconsistent which is something he can afford to be for City given their depth.
  14. Paqueta is twice the player Philips is tbh. I think they’re looking for him to fill in for De Bruyne when injured/rested more than anything.
  15. Maybe Spurs were asking for more from a league rival?
  16. Started both games where they were fielding a strong side. Yeah Bellingham at the 10, but see it as temporary until Mbappe is eventually signed and then three of Jude, Cama, Tchouameni, Kroos, Modric and Valverde starting in the midfield three.
  17. Joselu won’t start. Carlo has tried some new tactics this summer. Think their sight is on signing Mbappe and playing Vini and Mbappe up top and Rodrygo behind them in a #10 role and then three central midfielders behind.
  18. If Richarlison can keep fit, then sure. He’s good for 15-20 goals if he’s starting week in week out in that side. Would they be playing: Rich Son Maddison Kulusevski? Looks decent, but unless they all find their form I don’t see them finishing top 4.
  19. Imagine Kane leaving for free next season and them missing out on CL. That will be the downfall of that club.
  20. What World Cup? Or are we making stuff up on the go?
  21. Not impressed by Neymars international career and comparable to Stern John and this in the same page.
  22. I do agree the move didn’t end up as he intended, but wouldn’t call Brazil’s top scorer of all time a waste of career. Injury definitely played a bigger part than club choice in his career not turning into what he probably had hoped. Using Ronaldinho as an argument to diminish Neymar is quite weird as Ronaldinho became a washed up ex-player at the age of 27 basically and only had roughly four years as a top 10 player (and he was even more talented than Neymar). People tend to forget that. Quite evident that the likeability of Ronaldinho and dislikeability of Neymar clouds peoples judgement.
  23. Messi and Cristiano are clearly ahead and thats not even debatable, but after them I don’t think we’ve had a player in the past 15 years near Neymars level of talent. 401 goals and 224 assists for club and country for an injury riddled showboater with unnecessary skills is quite good tbh.
