There was a plan, but not by the club, to rotate through 90degrees which would allow expansion to 70,000. Not sure how viable that would be. Also the area where the arena is will soon be vacated but not sure if there are any existing plans for that and to throw a rabbit in there......Im told but guess what, not sure, that the Rueben bros own Gosforth Park.
