  1. Delighted for Perez, happy for most of the team tbh. Feel really sorry for Pardew though, tried his best to set us up for a loss just didn't work out for him this time.
  2. Fucking no-one even trying to get into the box there to give Cabella an out.
  3. Doesn't have a huge CV of success to warrant getting such a good job, and of course fucking Pardew's CV is excellent. Pardew IS the King according to Murphy, tactical genius. Cunts, the lot of them.
  4. Usual story with isolation for the attackers though, there might be two or three of them at times but there's no-one behind to keep pressure on.
  5. Didn't Pardew say before the game that he hoped Spurs couldn't match our energy, or some such?
  6. Danny Murphy just hasn't got a clue. The players are doing exactly what they're told. 'Keep your shape, keep it tight. No-one do anything daft and we'll win with a bit of magic.'

Only because we got them wrong, we weren't supposed to draw and win. Didn't you get the script?

Can't believe this guy actually watches us. Just highlight reels and the club/Pardew spin, = make a prediction. At times, when Tottenham were going forward against Manchester City on Saturday, they looked really dangerous. But, whether it is Roberto Soldado or Emmanuel Adebayor up front, goals are still a problem for Spurs and, defensively, they were awful - it was so easy for City to play through them. Newcastle are not on a bad run of form after a win and two draws in their last four league games - especially when you consider the way they started the season. Even so, can I really tip the Magpies to win at White Hart Lane? I'm going to say no. Tottenham are a work in progress and something seems to go wrong for them every week, but Newcastle still have their own problems and I think a point apiece is the most likely outcome. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 Mark and Karen's prediction: 1-2
  9. Blerk! Still, Sam's face must have been funny as fuck?
  10. The gutless interviewers who never ask a tough question, I mean it must be part of their job description. The entire media circus the revolves around football is pale and wan as fuck. Are other sports the same?
  11. Someone describe the Steve Stone thing in a little more detail please.
  12. Yeah, there was a fair bit going through him. Noticable was his lack of runs with nearly every pass received being laid straight off only for next guy to lose it. Very few of Hull players looked comfortable under pressure of Arsenals closing down, Ben Arfa never seemed phased by it.
  13. Just a blip in the future unfolding. Regardless of any positivity the club try to spin off this, reality will hit like a brick in the face over the next set of fixtures. Like the look of Perez though. If he gets more game time, Aarons returns and de Jong comes good we could well be stuck with Pardew, (if he understands the potential he's got at his disposal, hopefully he won't.)
  14. The most astonishing thing to me is that Leicester have managed to make us look fairly competent in defence.
  15. Just read the warranty on the screen didn't cover bezels.
  16. What's to stop them letting people in to that parts of the ground that aren't affected, like 75% of the ground.
  17. Most people think part of Ashley's plan is buying players cheap and selling them on at a profit. I certainly thought it most likely true. To that end Carr was assigned the task of finding such players, though I doubt he was so aware of the sell them on bit in so many words. So when Pardew turns round and says these guys, Ben Arfa and MYM, just can't cut it in the EPL where does that leave Ashley? Does he think Pardew is a great judge of talent and Carr must have got those two wrong? Then Ashley sees Roma falling over themselves to tie up an early deal and MYM gets recalled to the French squad. Ashley sticks his fingers in his ears and shuts his eyes and chants 'Not listening!'? Doesn't cross his mind Pardew might have fucked, up or not be the guy to manage Carr's player finds? Something doesn't add up in all that, but perhaps it never does where Ashley is concerned. It's beyond my ability to second guess what is going on. Maybe he truly is thick as pigshit when it comes to football and has to rely on others for their input. People like Kinnear and Derek 'wormtongue' Lambias.
  18. I think it was desperation and the fact that anyone who wanted HBA couldn't be that bad.
  19. Sickening. Ashley loses considerable credibility in the astuteness stakes when he sees players being sold at a loss all thanks to the mastermind Pardew.
