  1. Kudos due to Pardew for that first half performance, but judging by the second half he reverted to type and its clearly his preferred game. He must feel uneasy whenever we play attacking football because, by nature, someone will be out of position.
  2. Have to give Pardew the credit for this. Midfield is pushing on and as a consequence we're winning a lot of the second balls and putting a lot more pressure on when we don't. Usually those second balls are coming straight back at us.

    Alan Pardew

Bit galling that it happens to be about Allardyce but the write-up at.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20568256 ..shows up Pardews lack of nous. Reading the first part you can easily see how it could describe us, until you get to where Allardyce changes the game and realise Pardew always fails to do that. Flaws in our method that we all see.
  4. he also said nile ranger wouldn't play for the first team as long as he (pardew) is the manager. Think you've made that up, bro. Unless I've missed some quotes? i heard it with my own ears. as did one or two others on here. Definitely said it.
  5. 6 goals in 30 minutes, keep that up and it will finish 9-9.

    Pardew Out?

It's got to the stage now that I think the only way we will hold on to the likes of Cabaye, Ben Arfa and Cisse is if we get a new manager in - one that lets them play football. Pardew only has himself to blame. It's quite clear that priority number one is defensive shape, which would be fair enough if there was freedom in possession or some kind of attacking countering plan to go with it. (Other than kick it long quickly). When we concede there is no answer because all the team knows is keep shape, be hard to score against. Too late they scored, what do we do now? Our good players, and we do have quite a few, have their abilities shackled by the negative mindset of the manager. A manager who told some of them what an expansive passing game they would be playing. A win at stoke today would have been a thin veneer of paper over a gaping wound. Hope Ashley is paying attention.
  7. I was still staring at the screen trying to work out how no-one was complaining about the throw as the ball sailed into the back of the net.
  8. No denying that was a good goal. And another nail in the coffin for Pardew.

    Pardew Out?

This from someone who frequently posts in threads saying what a shit thread it is.

    Pardew Out?

Excellent, he's finally opened his eyes to the problem. Now we'll see a turnaround of fortunes.
  11. We've been torn apart and Pardew had no answers, but I bet he has a few excuses. Could easily have been 5-0.
  12. They're going to play us off the park as Pards set the team out to sit deep in regimented positions.
