Not yet he hasn't, we could still finish outside the top 10. And even then, do we think that is going to cause Mike to lose any sleep? I severely doubt it. At no point this season has Mr Ashley had to show any interest in NUFC. We've been ticking along nicely. As is very apparently by our lack of activity in the transfer market. Last year we were in the shit so we paid money for our future freebies, this year we were golden. We made £20m this year and finished between 9th and 11th! Sounds like a fucking massive win for Mike. Time to give Pards an extension. I don't know Ashley's thoughts, but finishing in the top 10 was the requirement this season so whether he's sacked or not he'd have failed if we drop to 11th. Hah yeah I thought about that, but seriously he wouldn't have offered the bonus if he didn't want us to finish top 10.

Unless you're assuming their lack of effort is unrelated to being sick to death of Alan Pardew then its pretty contradictory.
-
I want us to lose by as many goals as possible at the moment, so personally I don't want them to give any effort at all. Hopefully the reason they aren't trying is because they want Pardew gone as well. If they just aren't trying because they couldn't give a shit full stop then that's unacceptable, but at the moment I'm not going to make assumptions on their motives. I just want them to lose big and him to get fucked away from the club. Hopefully I'll get the chance to come to a conclusion on their commitment next season by being able to see them play under a new manager.

People keep going on about how they want us to lose, then complain when our players don't try and let us lose
-
How's that? Certainly the UEFA version anyway.

But one of the reasons the teams above us are better is due to our manager! Southampton arent great when you look at the sum of the parts, but Pochetino has them coached brilliantly. Imagine what someone like him could bring out of players like Ben Arfa and even players like Anita, who are perfect for that kind of fast paced quick passing game. I think if Pochettino had our both squads, he'd still play Shaw, Lovren, Lallana, Rodriguez & Lambert at least. I don't think there's much between us personnel wise. Pochettino here would have us where Southampton are now imo, a place or two better off but with better football. I'd take that. They have some good players who would get in our side, and we have plenty who would get in theirs. IMO he'd have us around that position minimum but he'd be going out their to win and giving us a chance of finishing much higher. To say I'd take it would be understatement of the year, we can only dream of a manager like him to be honest.

Southampton are only better because they have a manager who is progressive. Can you imagine Pardew playing Lalana and Rodriguez? Lol Shaw, Lovren, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Rodriguez & Lambert would all walk into our team. The entire side would walk in, you know why? Because they're well drilled and playing in a side that's coached to play Football and go out and win games. They have some good players, but so do we, the sum of their parts though isn't clearly better than ours, not at all.

Apparently eventually we're going to look back and realise that Pardews done a good job. Nobody could have done better considering Cabaye being sold. I feel like jumping into the Sky studio and stabbing this cunt in the jugular. What a grade a fucking know nothing gobshite.

It was offside I didn't see it in real time that's why i'm asking. The replay looked like it showed Dummet was on the line well in front of the ball, it's confused me You need two opposition players between you and the goal to be onside. Usually the keeper would be one but Krul was behind Ozil.
-
Yep and I applaude them for it! At a certain point you have to stop papering over the glaring cracks.
-
What was that chant at the end? Something about Ben Arfa?
-
He'll beat them the second time as well, then Shola will fuck things up somehow.
-
This may seem like a mess, but I'm glad its being brought to a head. Surprised it took him this long, I'd have lost my rag with this cunt a long time ago if I was being treated like Ben Arfa is, in fact I have lost it a few times and I'm not even him

I'd suffer another year of mid-table meritocracy under Pardew if it meant Stevie GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE didn't lift the PL trophy. Now this is beyond the f***ing pale, you sick b******! Meritocracy. Didn't even notice that I was too disgusted by the post.

People no longer give a shit about Palace catching us now then?
-
Mourinho anti Football wins the day, Football is shit Hate Liverpool as well so them winning wouldn't have been much better, but fuck me Mourinho
-
Wasn't a dive like, not sure it was in the area but its arguably a foul and certainly enough to knock Sterling over wether it was given as a foul or not.
-
I'm thinking on putting a bet on us to get a result so if we do get something at least I'll have some cash to fall back on. That's how bad its gotten, I'm insuring myself against an unwanted Newcastle result. Nobody but Pardew could do this to someone who previously couldn't have even contemplated wanting his own team to lose. I know its said a lot and so lacks punch these days, but I really mean it when I say I truly hate the fucker, I despise him.

Taken away the goals/ assists from when he has came on as a substitute, or left them in to make it look better? On the other side of the coin how many of those starts were the full 90 minutes? Suppose looking at minutes per goal/assist would be better.
-
usually yeah but come on, it's Liverpool away in a game like this, what do you expect ? Two teams to play Football so I can enjoy a game?, strange concept in modern day Football I know. Even defensive Football is fine, but this level of time wasting from Chelsea is fucking painful to watch. Of course you expect some of this kind of thing, but Mourinho takes it to a whole new tedious level, the mans a poison to an entertaining match.
-
Chelsea doing their best to spoil the game, Mourinho is such a calculating joyless man.

Hmm. Maybe if their lack of appearances can be seen as being down to exceptional circumstances or something? Probably. Not sure if injury will qualify as one though. That's surely the one thing that would qualify? Could be a seriously illness unrelated to Football would qualify but nothing else, or could be completely down to Premier League discretion. Not that it matters since apparently the rules have changed.
