Just read the statement, couldn't really get less inspiring could you?

The Premier League also have financial fair player regulations which have nothing to do with European competition. What was the question? Obviously signing 1 to 2 players per season in the future is fine normally, but this coming summer has to be an exception to that, he's mental if he thinks otherwise. EDIT: Oh its from the actual statement, since you quoted the sun I thought they'd done an interview with him or something.
  3. Enough of what is enough as well? Enough creativity?, dont want any more of that, bring on Mr Gosling. Anderson and Lowes are utter mongs, not a fucking clue.
  4. Pardews like a bad fucking joke, well thats it for me, not watching/listening and I hope we get raped.
  5. You could make assumptions based on past attitude problems or the fact we haven't had a big transfer bid for Ben Arfa or you could trust your own eyes and judgment on the player. Personally I'd go for the second option. Because frankly the first point has no baring on the fact that the lad creates chances on the pitch and the second isn't surprising considering he's played so sporadically and only has a year left on his contract. Its obvious why Pardew isn't playing him, its reflected in every aspect of his management. His idea of Football is hard work and grinding out results, get ahead and desperately defend, he's a coward who accepts no responsibility for failure, surely nobody can doubt this after 4 years of watching the fucker? If his one dimensional game plan fails he's got Ben Arfa to try to dig him out of the shit, and if he doesn't he's also got a scapegoat.
  6. He creates chances for us and the opposing team because he isn't very disciplined. Sometimes he'll take the extra few touches and do something magical. Other times he's running down dead ends. I understand why some fans like him playing, but I also understand why a coach might be reluctant to play him. When does he create chance for the other team? I mean give me examples beyond the amount of times the likes of Gouffran or Tiote or numerous other players give the ball away and create chances for the other team. Sorry man but its a nonsense, a myth. As for running down dead ends, at his worst he pushes forward and actually threatens the opposition. Against Palace he came on and created more chances in 30 minutes than most had all game, three clear cut chances one of which we won the game from. Against Everton he came on on created our only real chance up till that point and that was 57 minutes in, laid it on a plate for Anita after some great skill and that should have gotten us back into the game. But nah forget that Pardew subbed him during a game again so the scapegoat can't be trusted, unlike that realiable lad Gouffran who in the same game passed the ball right accross our area and gave Southampton a clear run on goal which they should really have scored from, but he stays on the pitch despite giving it away, doing nothing down the other end and generally being shit, because he's one of Pards good tacklers. Pardew - like most modern, successful managers - likes to defend from the front. Our attacking players have defensive responsibilities forcing errors and limiting the opposition's time on the ball. For all he looks great with the ball at his feet, we have players who are stronger when it comes to hassling the opposition. That's part of why Ba was such a success here and why Shola's continued inclusion is baffling. Again, not saying HBA wouldn't be in my team. Just saying that him not playing every week isn't as criminal as some seem to believe. There are some games I'd want him nowhere near the pitch. Any tight games, like the games against the mackems, for example. He played both and offered nowt of note. I know you aren't saying he shouldn't play. But what you are saying is that its reasonable that Pardew has decided not to play him. In certain games?, arguably if you think its acceptable to go into any game looking to keep it tight by working super hard and defending from the front then maybe nicking something. However its not as if he's only leaving him out in those kinds of games, he started against Palace at home without him FFS! Is there any doubt there for you to give him the benefit of, because I don't think there is personally. As for Sunderland, nobody offered anything against them, it was a team failure, also Ben Arfa actually set up the only goal we've scored against them in the last 3 games, with a ball across the box to Debuchy. He also changed the game against them the last time we played remotely well against them at home, incidentally he played on the right side that game unlike the other two occasions when Pardew insisted on wasting him on the left.
  7. Yes he's sometimes indisciplined, but what's the point of having 11 disciplined players and no creativity?, this is the Premier League not League One. Also its not as if we even have 11 disciplined players even with him off the pitch, quite the opposite, what we do have though is no invention and no hope what so ever.

I mean give me examples beyond the amount of times the likes of Gouffran or Tiote or numerous other players give the ball away and create chances for the other team. Sorry man its a myth that he loses it so much more than other players. Of course he's going to lose the ball a bit more than the average because he takes chances to create things, but he doesn't mis place passes nearly as much as some and when he loses the ball at least it happens with a purposes behind it and he's certainly not losing it regularly in dangerous area's. As for running down dead ends, at his worst he pushes forward and actually threatens the opposition (how many times does Sissoko run down dead ends but with no real intent or purpose). Against Palace he came on and created more chances in 30 minutes than most had all game, three clear cut chances one of which we won the game from. 9. We'd played on Tuesday so "we woz tired". Also Ben Arfa was on the pitch which is emotionally draining for the hard working lads, got much better once the waster came off though
  10. Benefit of what doubt over Ben Arfa? Frankly I couldn't give a fuck if he rapes Pardews cat and pisses in his fuel tank every day. I don't care what his attitude is off the pitch, I can see with my own eyes that he creates chances when he's on the pitch so he should be starting.
  11. The reporter on Look North just said Shearer and Beardsley featured for Newcastle when we beat Manchester United 5-0 in 1966
  12. Absolutely fucking hate him, don't care what anyone says. During the Southampton game for the first time ever I stopped watching the match (as soon as I saw the subs at half time). I walked into the kitchen with the none Football fans and stayed in their listening to music and having a few drinks. That fucking moron made me ignore something I usually look forward to all week, he's a fucking coward who drains any joy out of games. If we're losing he takes away any hope that it'll change. If we're winning comfortably he turns it into a desperate fight to hang onto something.
  13. Arent they pumping the TV cash to cover debts so they only get the £30m transfer profit from this year to spend regardless of final league position. Buying Lukaku would leave little to fill out a small squad unless its another 4 loans coming in(and Barry on a free) I'm talking about potential cash from Champions League involvement, if they qualify they'll surely then have some money to spend.
  14. I'm assuming he still wants to be profitable though. Even if he's still tight, he can get players of a certain style and a manager with a certain mindset on a similar budget to now even. Even if he has no ambition, he could at least try and keep the punters entertained on a matchday. We don't even have that. That's ambition. the Newcastle manager's job is always difficult but it's nigh on impossible under Ashley. Any new manager will have to consistently over achieve to make a name for himself. While not being in control of transfers at all. If the new manager was half decent at his job he'd handle the nigh on impossible job far better than Pardew though. Until Ashley fucks off the place is always going to be in some kind of mess, but it would still help not to have an incompetent in charge of the first team. Of course that's part of the mess Ashley's created, but the point is its something he could do to improve the club substantially without having to spend big. Keep bringing in the kind of players we've signed over the last few years but have a manager who can actually use them properly.
  15. Buying him would be much better business than continually loaning, but I agree I can't see Everton spending £25m and paying the kind of wages he'll want. I suppose it all hangs on whether they get Champions League or not, if they do he'll be interested in signing and they may actually be able to afford it with the extra cash they'll receive.
  16. Can't think of anyone who'll buy him for £25m and give him Champions League Football like.

    Loïc Remy

A damning indictment of how much we suck now. A news paper story that's 99% certain to be total bull is a damning indictment?, this forum man

    Andy Carroll

We're talking about the lad who fucked off at the first chance Whether that's accurate or not, it's irrelevant because we both know who'd far rather be up front for us next season. Do we? If we match Carroll's wages then he probably would prefer to play for us. Carroll would need to prove his fitness to be worth those wages though which he hasn't got time to do. Even if he proved his fitness he still wouldn't be worth the wages he's on there. Remy on the other hand would be IMO.
  19. Players the press link us with doesnt prove anything to be honest, 99% are made up.
  20. Thank god we have a solid RB replacement in MYM. What hint?, also did I miss the first time he hinted he was leaving?
  21. Everton have been pretty shit so far, think they should haul that Deulofeu off, must be his fault surely.
  22. Ben Arfa HAS to play right side though, ridiculous to start him anywhere else.

    Sunderland

I've got to say I've watched Newcastle about 15 times this season, and apart from Man U away, Fulham away (I think), and Man City at home in the cup, I've not been impressed at all. But Pardew must be doing something right, because your league position is something we Sunderland fans would kill for. Cabaye and Remy dragged us backwards through the hedges. Should be fun next season. Stay down there, keep a seat warm for us. Our form after Cabaye went is still mid table, bare minimum we'll replace Cabaye and Remy in the summer and if we were somehow struggling by January we'd go out and strengthen just like we did a couple of seasons ago, not a single chance of relegation even with Pardew in charge. That's not to say we'll replace them with players as good, or that we'll do particularly well next season of coirse, just ensure mid table. I can always hope for more like Carr finding some gems, but I'm not going to expect it.
  24. I chose a double shift just to avoid watching this. I will be working almost 12 hours on Saturday and it's so fucking worth it. Are you really serious here though? You're mental IMO if you've done that like.

    Sunderland

They only need 2 wins to stay up, as Palace will only win 1 more game at most They have West Ham, West Brom, Cardiff and Swansea at home. Palace have Cardiff, West Ham and Fulham away. If they only get 2 wins then they'll need 5 draws from their remaining 7 games to have a real chance of survival. No matter what you think of Palace the fact is normally 36 points is needed to have a real chance of survival.
