  1. Sorry to stop you on your second sentence, but this is a simple untruth. An advertising hoarding is not a business. Anything that gets headlines is good for Ashley. Unless it damages Sport Direct directly. You shouldn't have stopped him, Ashley will not want to have to put money into the club so does run it as a business and will not want to see our income drop by being relegated. The money that has gone out of the club directly and indirectly, and Ashley's estate's exponential growth since taking us over far outweighs by an order of magnitude any pennies a relegation might 'cost' him. But he can get more money by not being relegated, seriously what kind of logic is this s*** man? Why would it need to outweigh anything? Fact is he can make even more money and keep his initial investment worth a hell of a lot more by being in the league. Give me one good reason why he should not want to keep recieving £70-£80m in TV money and keep the company he owns worth in the £200-£300m range rather than less than half that.
  2. Aye - he can pocket two years worth of TV money to pay off his 'loan', stick us up for sale or leave us in limbo as he concentrates on Rangers. If he's pocketing all this TV money then why the fuck would he not be bothered about it plummeting down from £70m to somewhere closer to £20m? In reality at best after paying wages ect we may have an excess of £20-£30m which he can theoretically pay himself. If we drop to the Championship that drops to a £20-£30m loss, which means no cash for Ash. Honestly, the idea that Ashley just wouldn't really be bothered about £50 or so million per year.. Let alone the chance of staying down their for a couple of years and the parachute payments running out, meaning £70m down.
  3. The replacement should be Cabella, but Pardew doesn't see it that way
  4. Had Herrera on to score next Three in a row.
  5. Had Di Maria as first goal scorer as well
  6. We really struggle against Hull at home though, played them three times in the last six years and lost all of them, so hopefully that continues.
  7. Showing Falcao round the dressing room and the presenter points to his new shirt and says "This used to be Patrice Evra's peg" it then goes into slow motion with Falcao seemingly turning to look at the camera in utter awe that his shirt is now sitting on the same peg as the legendary Patrice Evra Or did I just imagine that?
  8. it was very clearly over the line on replay before best stuck it in. Your opinion mate, the decision looks close enough to me to be contestable, even the best replay they showed was hard to see if the entire ball was over and like I said whether it was or not it comes down to the press associations decision which is all I'm bothered about since really all I give a shit about is the cash EDIT: After contacting SkyBet they've now settled it as a win and given me the cash, not much money but its still several pints down the pub so worth getting
  9. Had money on Best to score the next goal after Assombolonga but despite Skybet having Best as the scorer they've settled it as a loss. I know it possibly went over the line before Best put it in but it doesn't seem 100% conclusive that the whole of the ball was over the line. Anyway SkyBet say they use the Press Associations report to decide who scores, where can I find that? Had a look on their site but couldn't see it.
  10. Leon Best on for Derby, hope he scores.
  11. Knew someone would say that Still 1 league game so far and not even on the bench today.
  12. Yup. Not a chance, based on our form so far in 2014 we'd be sitting on 10-11 points by boxing day, Ashley won't find certain relegation acceptable.
  13. Total waste of time loaning Lascelles back to Forest.
  14. Can't recall him, could try to persuade him to to sign a new contract with us but lets be honest it isn't going to happen, we aren't that lucky.
  15. Totally different players, if you need a player to score a free kick, rattle one in from distance or provide a cross its Robert. If you need someone to dismantle a stubborn defence with some dribbling magic its Ben Arfa. Personally I think its hard to say one was more naturally talented than the other without being specific about the kind of talent you're referring to, they were both more naturally gifted than each other in different ways. Though I'd always prefer to watch Ben Arfa play because he gets involved more than Robert did and is just electric, while Robert was basically just moments of magic with a sudden goal/assist with nowt in between. As far as getting in Sir Bobby's team, it would have been hard to remove anyone permanently from that side because they worked so well together. But he'd certainly have added something different to the squad and played plenty of games. Had far more impact, due to actually being allowed to play his natural game, but nowhere near twice the player.

who gives these idiots drugs? his dealer wants holding to account Sounds like a Mackem as well.
  17. He did against Cardiff. No doubt about it, he's on borrowed time, he was since that Cardiff game, but he won't walk. He really had little reason to quit after Cardiff, it was just one game, the last home game of the season. He had the hope that new signings and time would settle things down before the following season. But if he got the same against Hull what hope would he have left? I mean I sort of agree that his character seems delusional and insane enough to refuse to quit. But in reality he'll never have faced anything like what I hope he's going to face on Saturday, and with no end in sight unlike last season against Cardiff.
  18. Benitez Bruce Moyes Almost anyone but Pardew Anyone at all but Pardew

    John Carver

Utter cunt, Newcastle fan? Any real Newcastle fan seeing how things are going from the inside couldn't possibly be stupid enough not to realise its rotten, he's complicit and no real fan would be. He's having a go at people who go around the world to support their team, not because they get paid to like him or his fraud of a mate but because they love the club. Good though, its yet another desperate sign of a regime not long for this world.

    Remy Cabella

He's a central attacking midfielder, can't just stick him on the right wing next to 10 other individuals and expect him to Ben Arfa it (he'd only get dropped if he did anyway..). That's not to say I don't think Cabella is a very good player, I seriously doubt he scored 14 goals in 37 goals from midfield by being a bad player. But he's just not the the kind of player to do things totally on his own. He needs to be central, linking up with a striker and the rest of the midfield, not isolated out on the right. But long may he and everyone else be shite while The Cunt is here, once he's gone I think some will realise we still have some very talented players.
  21. Tony Gale is Alan Pardew basically. Both fucking thick as fuck and faking it in their jobs and both with the same archaic pig headed ideas about Football. Hope both of them contract ebola.
  22. Aye, he's got a good record apparently and because we finished 5th once we now expect it every season, poor Pard's. Fucking utter cretin I'd honestly like to murder the fucker. Who is it Andy Townsend ? Sounds like the cunt.
  23. We need Yanga-Mbiwa and Ben Arfa back in there, oh wait..
  24. Him almost getting relegated and blaming it on the Europa league didn't bother you? I cannot really be arsed debating this on my phone on the bus. But we didn't have a strong enough squad for that season due to lack investment. Same as this season only this season we don't have European football, thank fuck. Pardew never gets any plaudits for getting us there. I'm not an apologist I just appreciate a balanced view as opposed to one that only covers one side of the story We had a strong enough squad to do far better than just survive relegation and the reason he doesn't get the plaudits for getting us into Europe is because he got their on a fucking wing and a prayer. Don't care what anyone says I watched him do his best to throw away plenty of points that season, got so fucking lucky. At the time I tried to delude myself that despite the repeated stupidity maybe I was wrong and he should get a chance to see if he could iron out the mistakes given the 5th place finish. He didn't iron the mistakes out, all that happened is the luck dissolved, the mistakes continued and results and Football got worse and worse.
  25. How much did they pay for Ozil? Looks so shit.
