Its nothing to do with their moral fibre (that's questionable regardless of attendance). Seriously, as you say the Mackems talk shit about attendance all the time. So what's the problem with having at go at them for only taking 25k to a home leg of a cup semi final?, its an absolutely atrocious attendance.
-
But by that logic Swansea are the only club aiming to sign anyone since they're the only club in for Ince.
-
If the conversation went: Slim: "Your attendance was shit last night" Mackem: “Aye but I never seen the Newcastle fans” Then I don't know what the fuck he's trying to say, as a reply it makes no sense in any way.
-
Don't know, you could read it that way, but I may have misread it
-
I misread your post (as if their was a comma after "its not like"). That's why I edited my post to just generally be confused at the whole situation rather than just your post.
-
It was clear they needed players in the summer, where was their ambition then?
-
How fucking mixed up is he? I mean what's he trying to say? That Newcastle fans are letting themselves down by not turning up to support Man Utd?
-
Oh stop whining people, they'll go out of the cup and out of the league
-
We weren't interested in Remy? I do think we should show interest in Ince for the right price since he seems to have some good potential, haven't seen him play much though, just going off other people's opinions.

I'm really surprised we haven't had £30m per season offers to advertise at St James' considering the amazing difference it can apparently make to a companies fortunes. Especially considering everyone who sees the SD adverts are sickened at their presence. I mean imagine what advertising space at our ground could do for a none objectionable company

Right and if he keeps it up he'll be worth a lot of money. Nowt we can do at the minute though no matter what we think he's worth.
-
Out of his depth doesn't have to mean "can he achieve the minimum the owner requires" though. If you have a good enough squad and low enough expectations then even a manager who's generally out of his depth in a certain league can achieve what's required of him. He's out of his depth in that he's far below the quality required to bring out the potential of our squad.
-
pardew? Of course he's not. i guess there will be no concurrence on this matter then, 'cause he's out of his depths imho top tier championship manager in charge of international footballers and our position and performances reflect this fairly accurately tbh Remit - League : Finish Top 10 FA Cup : Not Applicable League Cup : Not Applicable To say he's out of his depth is utterly laughable. People also have a habit of massively over rating our squad. We could probably this year 7th at best and if we had a really bad season 13th-14th. You know when people talk about ridiculous expectations - they're talking about you. The irony is the expectation is a product of Pardew's own high performance but that's no doubt lost on you. Oh do fuck off man Its not like people are having a go at Pardew because we aren't currently top 5. The thing people have a problem with most is the way he sets his side up.

Also has a massive debt to MA, to which MA controls. Why would he allow it to be used for transfers when we cant (well can, but very unlikely) go down? He could easily take it off the debt. Ignoring the fact he has repeatedly said it wont come off the debt. None of that has anything to do with Ashley putting money in? The club is making profits, we spend f*** all to start with of course it can pay out money without further help from Ashley Reportedly said. The point i was trying to make is MA will (i guess) see the clubs money as his own. He can take it out when he wants. and how much profit did we make? It's slipped my mind. You might be right in that we won't spend (though personally I think we'll do so if their's good deals going). But at the end of the day whether we spend or not it has nowt to do with Ashley saying he won't invest in the club anymore. Especially since he's actually put money in since that was said. Of course he got that money back from the club a season or two later, but the point is he is still prepared to put money in, just not prepared to add to the long term interest free loan. Also of course as Roger Kint says the club can generate its own funds. Not sure how much will be spare right now. But certainly when the first Wonga sponsorship payment and increased TV money arrives in a few months time their should be quite a significant excess (£30-£40m?). Anyway the really obvious lie you didn't pick up on was them saying Pardew had been assured he would have money to spend If we do spend anything he won't be the one deciding who its spent on.

Nah I doubt it personally. I think what might happen is they'll ask for 14m Euro's, we know they'll likely accept 10m Euros but we'll offer 8m Euros. By the end of the window we'll have reached 9.5m but won't go any higher and it likely won't get accepted.
-
Don't want too many French players of course. But its probably totally the wrong time to move our focus away from that market. With the 75% tax coming in players will want out and a lot of clubs will be looking to sell higher earners due to financial problems. Perfect environment to try to pick up some quality players for lower than their usual value. The whole situation must have Ashley rubbing his hands together.

He's smarter than anyone at the club.. If chopey's son was in charge we wouldn't have a club to support. True but in this instance it would be nice if we didn't suffer through this tedious bollocks. Smarter than pretty much every club in world Football in that case. I mean very few transfers go through the moment the window opens.

You think we'll offer under £2.9m then?, really?

I would love Nigel de Jong Worst post of the year. He's a very good player He's a horrible c*** who deliberately f***ed up one of our players. Is there a massive difference between de Jong's and Debuchy's tackle I'd have to look at Debuchy's tackle again to judge it, of course one big difference is he got the ball cleanly and made no contact with the player. Was still a red just because it could have gone so wrong but at least this shows his intent was always only to win the ball. De Jong however had a history of going out to hurt people and it just so happens he takes our best player out of the game by accident.. You may disagree, but I would never want to see the fucker here.

I would love Nigel de Jong Worst post of the year. He's a very good player But he's a horrible cunt who deliberately fucked up one of our players.
