Ah well definitely looks comfortable with his left foot anyway, unless Santon. -

As much as I don't want to get all Pards on you, we would surely get annihilated with that combination of wide players. Yeah, 3 out of 11 players being attack minded is suicide. Need at least 9 defenders on the pitch.. Dat tackle. Why are the full backs on the wrong sides? Suppose he's thinking of having the two wingers cutting in to shoot and the full backs over lapping to cross so you have both options on both sides of the pitch. After all Santon is right footed and Yanga-Mbiwa is left footed so in that position they should be more comfortable going on the outside. While Ben Arfa is left footed and Remy right footed meaning they should be more comfortable cutting in from those positions. EDIT: Or is Yanga-Mbiwa right footed? He does seem to favour the left hand side and seems comfortable with his left foot, though I'm not sure if he is predominantly left footed or if he's just good with both? -
We'll sign players in the summer, because we simply have to, same as when we had to in January 2013 when we brought in Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sissoko, Gouffran and Haidara.

Creativity certainly doesn't come into Pardews thinking, Ben Arfa wont start. As far as Sissoko and Gouffran, the later does offer a lot more goals per game and a similar amount of assists per game. Also no idea if Sissoko could play left wing so IF by some miracle Ben Arfa got a start on the right wing I'd play Gouffran on the left. -

Think we'll get a win or a draw. -
The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!

Should be beating Cardiff and Swansea and getting something against sides like Everton and Man Utd at home. Think we'll probably end up around 55 points, enough for 8th but no higher. -

Its very unlikely, they're seven points behind us with only seven games left, we have eight left. In their last seven games they have three points morethan us (they got twelve from their last seven, we got nine). Don't see why our form will get worse with Remy and Debuchy coming back either. -
He stops and puts his body in between the ball and the Stoke player and backs in with no intention to play the ball at all, got to be a foul for Stoke if anything. At the very least let it play on to allow the Stoke player the chance to out muscle him. No idea how its a Villa free kick I mean whats the Stoke player supposed to do?, just stand on the other side of a player who isn't even trying to play the ball and wait for him to move?
-
Yeah we've certainly relied on a loan player quite a lot this season in Remy, but fucking hell they've got 5 loan players in their first team squad and at times at least 4 of them on the pitch at the same time, Sunderloan AFC.
-
Fucking Southampton, had £90 heading my way if they won and they throw away a 2-0 lead, glad they at least didn't get a point, incompetent fuckers.
-
But he doesn't even start Borini, he starts fucking Altidore, what's he playing at?
-
I know what you're saying but it's still a top 10 team at home to a team near the bottom. Aye true, but over 3/1 for the only side out of the 2 with anything to play for (especially as Remy is out) is good value I reckon. I've stuck my life savings on it now, stop pissing on my chips. You can get over 4/1 on some sites. Seems a bit high, but then our record against them at home is very good and their away record is shit.

Amazing logic in that article like. Jenkinson doesn't get much time in Arsenal's side because Sanga keeps him out. But obviously he'll get loads more time in Newcastles side, despite Debuchy being ahead of Sanga in the French national team
-
What if its a good performance? Can I cheer that or am I still supposed to not care?
-
If they survive relegation they've had a better season than us like. They've been to Wembly, another quarter final, and have completely humiliated us again at SJP. We'll finish somewhere in the top 10 and then lose our best players. As apposed to finishing near the bottom and losing their best players? We'll probably have the same shit on here for a bit when they "set the transfer window alight" in the summer. Then the season will start and people will realise we've once again got a much better side than them. Then again I still don't think we'll be in the same league next season anyway.

Ball about to go into the area, 5 minutes injury time isn't even up and he blows the whistle, some refs

Do you think Shola will be offered a new playing contract at NUFC?

 My God! This guy has nailed it. This is definitely what is going to happen. Not even close -
Giggs looks so old out there.

Ferguson. Yep. Fucker's never actually left. He's just vacated the bench for a brief period of time and watched it unravel. He'd be more than willing to step back in for a year or so until they find a proper new manager rather than this pretendy one. Eh? So he voluntarily left a job to allow the situation to get worse, then would instantly take the job back in a much harder position later? Does that make any sense? I don't think he'll come back but to be fair I wouldn't say that makes no sense. He may have chosen to leave this season because he felt things were going to dip no matter what he did. But now they've dipped so low under Moyes that he could come back and improve on things in his sleep. Still doing worse than before, maybe the same reduced performance he was expecting this season had he stayed, but because its so much better than Moyes its not seen as a dip, its now a rise Like I said though I'm not expecting him back, certainly hope he stays away, waited long enough to get rid of the utter prick.

Last time he signed a new contract he'd just scored 9 goals in 30 games that season (his best ever season for goals per game outside of the Championship season the year before when he got 11 in 21). This season he has 1 goals in 11 games, and that was in the league cup. I wouldn't have extended his contract last time out but the fact is he at least was scoring some goals then, not so now. -
I don't know the answer, but I'm guessing both of those have a better goals and assists to game ratio than HBA? You'd guess wrong then. If you look at total appearances Sissoko has a bit better assists to game ratio but a worse goals to game ratio than Ben Arfa. Gouffran has a slightly better goals to game ratio but a far worse assists ratio than Ben Arfa If you look only at starts (sub appearances could be as little as a few mins after all) Ben Arfa has by far the better ratio for both assists and goals than either of the other two. Would be interesting actually if someone had a total minutes on pitch stat for all three players over their whole Newcastle career.

Every time HBA is fit, people pipe up with the "have a feeling he will be magic this weekend/hope he pisses all ower them/he'll give Pardew no option but to play him" stuff, then maybes 1 time out of 10 he has a canny game. gets on the pitch. There fixed for you, you poor Pardewed person you.
