Its impossible for our system to work like your example because our manager doesn't decide on signings (which is a very good thing considering our manager). The likes of Carr can look into a player as much as they want but no amount of research will make that player fit the way we play if him and our manager see Football in a fundamentally different way.
-
At least we know there's no chance of that happening. We'll continue to make good signings even with Pardew and when he does go we won't have to clear out his shit. Its pretty horrendous to consider another season of Pardews soul sucking shitness, but the fact he can't directly influence our signings is one big plus point.
-
If they want stability they should bring in a good manager now and they can have some stability. Keeping Pardew only delays the inevitable and prevents stability, because lets face it he wont last another season, he's completely inept.
-
Meaning we should spend £15m on an injury prone scruff or?
-
How dare Hatem Ben Arfa eat food
-
So you think if we keep Pardew we should also start allowing him to make the signings? That sounds like a really bad idea.
-
How can West Ham afford that if Newcastle can't, unbelievable. #FFP I personally would love him back if it wasn't for his injuries. According to that article his now injured for 6 weeks and he only played 25 games this year. Of course it's not a sure thing he will be mr.sicknote, but it is an indicator which I don't like. I'm 50/50 on this although I voted "Yes". We could afford it, doesnt mean we should be willing to pay it though. West Ham aren't really interested in what they can afford or whether it's a sensible idea to do something, they're run by fucking idiots.

Great player.

Newcastle vs Arsenal: Arsenal have been on a fantastic run since losing to Tottenham in the north London derby at the start of March, a result that left Spurs seven points above them. Yes, Spurs have slipped up a couple of times since then to allow Arsenal to overhaul them, but the way Arsene Wenger's side have finished the season is still hugely impressive. I am backing them to beat Newcastle too, to ensure a top-four finish - although I don't imagine it will be a straightforward win. The Magpies are finally safe after beating QPR last weekend but, after the season they have had, I cannot see them just switching off in their last home game. I don't see the Gunners scoring two early goals and cruising home, because that doesn't seem to be the way they win games anymore. Even against Wigan on Tuesday, where they ended up convincing winners, they were under a bit of pressure before half-time. They might have to fight for it but fourth place is about par for Arsenal for the season. They are a very good team but they still look a few players short of what they will need to win the title. Prediction: 1-2

Think of him simply being an upgrade on Shola. At the right price, he would be a fantastic addition. I'd agree if I believed for a second he'd be used as a plan b. But I've got little doubt he'd be the main man with Pardew, since he has no interest in the team actually playing Football.
-
Great penalty, just brushed the underside of the bar, a few mm higher and it would have bounced down over the line, a few more and it would have bounced out. Never looked like he had a single doubt whether it was going in or not, balls of fucking steel.

Everyone knows I want Pardew gone as soon as possible. I've spent most of today raving like a looney to anyone who'll listen about how terrible he is. But as far as those quotes go, is there a video showing him saying that? I know people will argue that no media outlet could post those quotes if they weren't true. But what they can do is leave out any context, which can change a meaning quite dramatically.
-
Yeah, he's been very rash at times, but he's still in the process of getting used to the league in a shambolic team under a joke of a manager (also wasn't a pen).
-
Still wasn't a penalty was it? And I don't think he's the only one at fault for us playing negative as fuck is he. Don't even bother man, total knee jerk wankers the lot of them.

How are Norwich and Sunderland both getting a point "at the very least"? You realise its a win/lose/draw system right?
-
We draw, Wigan draw, it's squeaky bum time. Simple fact. What if Norwich and/or Sunderland lose?.. See people keep forgetting there's other teams in this. Admittedly I didn't look that far into it, but tbh, it's fucking squeaky bum time now for me, am shitting myself I'll be pissed about 2 hours before the game starts, only way I'll make it to kick off

On the plus side, a Wigan win prevented Man City from overtaking us in the most unsuccessful clubs table. FYP We're joint 8th most successful club in the country ya silly fucker
-
Norwich have only 2 points away from home this year. Anythings possible, but the fact is Norwich are rank away from home.

QPR vs Newcastle Utd - 12/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV) - a win confirms safety

Based on the last 2 away games? Don't you dare use common sense in here. -

I suppose, but we're talking about Norwich needing a point away to Man City and Sunderland needing a point away to Spurs, not just one but both AND Wigan needing to win as well. I'm just saying people seem to forget other teams are in this, it always seems to be "if we do this and Wigan do that", its not just us and Wigan.

Don't like either team but I'd still rather Man City won it, I'd hate to see Wigan win anything. I've put £10 on Wigan so if they do win at least I'll have a nice £100 in my pocket.
