Celebrating the fact they havent beaten us in 11 years. You've really got to wonder what it is they're putting in the water down there. 11 Years They beat us 2 years ago. They were celebrating the 11th anniversary of their last win at St James' Park

Sorry for my english. It's not the same player, ben arfa is much better. He can be the future idol at newcastle No offence mate, and thanks for posting, but I don't think anyone outside of Newcastle realised how good Laurent Robert was. Robert it's good player but it's not the same talent that ben arfa. You will see.... At his best he was a great player, but I agree they're different players with different abilities. He didn't have the ability with the ball that Ben Arfa has, but his shooting/crossing was the best I've ever seen.

That's it for me now, I officially don't give a fuck about them again
-
All or nothing?, sounds like Robert

Game over
-
They offer different things to the team, neither currently offers much more then the other IMO.
-
Now the fucker scores an accidental goal! What did I say, unbelievable.
-
First one was an obvious pen not given, second one wasn't a pen and was given.. Heskey is unbelievable!
-
You mean will he be off to play against St Pauli with Bremen or Man Utd with the Toon?
-
Not that I'm saying your wrong, but I'm suprised that so many are leaping to this conclusion because of two games in the Premiership. They both played for us in the Championship, Williamson looked the better player then as well.
-
Taylor isn't anymore likely to hang around then anyone else though is he?, this situations proves that. Coloccini may or not not end his career here but if he doesn't we should get a fee. Also if you're worrying that Williamson might get a big move somewhere else that also provides cash to spend a hell of a lot more then £3m on new defenders. Its nonsense to say that if Ashley's still here we can't expect to buy a player for more then £3m no matter what the situation. Plus Williamson cost about £1m didn't he?

Well said stiffler i totally agree. I remember most of the bell ends on here were glad when Milner etc went aswell. Probably worth a look back to see who they are and some will still unbelievably not see they were wrong (the biggest cretins of all). Coulden't believe it and was gutted myself, as the lads quality was obvious, as is S. Taylor a quality player in my opinion. This will be another one of many we will live to regret IF he leaves, mark my words. Big IF though still, as the lad clearly loves NUFC and hopefully this is the club forcing his hand and he'll decide to stay. If he doesn't stay we best get a replacement in very quickly as Colo and Willy look good so far (early days yet still) but if one or both get get injured we could be up s*** creek as no ones 100% sure if Campbells still up to it. Kadar's injured, still a bit young and better off as a replacement at LB for now. Milner was a first team player, the only reason people were happy enough to see him go was due to the £12m fee. Taylor on the other hand is our third or fourth choice center back. He is not a fucking quality player and if you think we should have paid him £60k a week you're mad IMO.

Thats no way to conduct the clubs control on salaries. I'm sure once Barton, Smith Colo and whoever else comes to the end of their contracts they will be offered less then what they are on now. Yeah absolutely, as I said Taylor has to understand things have changed at the club and we just can't afford those kinds of wages. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the 'big earners' as their deals wind down, whether we'll sell them 12-18 months before the end of whether they'll come down. Can't really see Colo, no matter how much he enjoys playing at the club, halving his wages. What's important is keeping the overall wage bill to a manageable level and 60k a week can certainly fit into that bill for a limit number of the right quality of players, Taylor just isn't that quality. Coloccini wouldn't need to halve his wages, though IF he is really on £75k a week I would expect us to try to lower that a bit or sell him on.
-
We have players on wages higher than that, but all new players and new contracts will be 45K max (if you believe every report). I'd imagine, however, that if Colo or another high earner was to sign a new contract, he would get the same wage as he currently does. I thought the press said it was 25k, 30k and 35k a week (depending on where you read it). I never believed any of it, we'll be going on a yearly wage limit for the entire club and will offer players the wage we think they're worth within that budget IMO.
-
Smalling, Richards and Mancienne might even be ahead of him.
-
He's not a bad player, but IMO when fit he's third or fourth choice center back.
-
You think he's worth 60k a week? No, but then again I don't think footballers should be getting 10K a week. I really hope this is a bluff on our behalf in order to bring his wage demands down. For some reason I'm shocked that Taylor of all people would be that greedy. So when fit would you have Taylor as one of the two first choice center backs?
-
I wouldn't even like to see us give him £40k a week, he's not even a first team center back when fit.
-
Are you on a wind up?
-
Offered him 4 year deal 40k a week and he wants 60k, fuck off you dick head
-
Or we've transfer listed him because contract negations are going nowhere and selling in January would bring in peanuts. Do you think that fat bastard is going to reinvest the money for new players (Excl. Tiote) from the funds we raise from the Taylor sale? I don't know, just saying buying Tiote and transfer listing Taylor aren't necessarily related.
