You'd think so, some people seem to think this will somehow be the last game Boro can possibly win so we'll easily finish above them anyway. In normal circumstances I'd agree that we'll get more points from the remaining games then Boro, but dropping down to second bottom just before playing one of the most difficult teams to beat in the league could ruin our confidence completely IMO. If we cab beat Stoke then great I hope Boro win, but I'm not confident we will and we just can't end today down yet another place!

Because its a club which was around a long time before the Glazers came along, they own it, doesn't mean they are it. Not really bothered about arguing semantics today anyway My point is there should be a distinction between debt generated by the club and debt generated by its owners when making an argument that "look Manure make losses so Newcastle should".
