Where's the money gone then? It's gone where the £1.1bn Ashley has lost in the past 12 months has gone. So it hasn't gone anywhere then?
-
It's not the £100m transfer fee, of course they can spend what money they want. It's the quoted £250,000-£500,000 a week wages. That's absolutely pathetic. Some footballers will be lucky to make that in their entire career tbh. It'll ruin football because no matter how well players like Kaka play on the pitch, they'll make nearly 2-3m per month regardless. you can't blame the players for the inflated wages though I don't, my problem is with Man City but they're not doing anything wrong. They're offering to give a player 26 million pound a year, what's right about that?! It will corrupt football. This is a real test of just how far we've come in these past few years. If Kaka signs for Man City, it'll just confirm what many have worried about - that football is dying and just like anything else it's about money. If Kaka really cares about football, he'll stay at Milan. It's a better club, better league position, Champions League football etc. Man City are nothing atm. I don't like it anymore than you do, but who's to judge what they spend their money on. this type of thing has been happening ever since football became professional, just that now it has reached enormous levels. the more the game brings in, the more that will go out. But that money isn't coming from football.

So you honestly think the likes of Hull and Stoke haven't had performances like that?
-
To be fair the Hull and Blackburn games were at a time when we were manager-less and would have lost to anybody, we even lost to the Spuds back then! Wigan, Stoke and West Ham is a different matter though, we should have gotten much more then three points from those three games.
-
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Nowt to do with it, the lad can't score for shit against any other team, whether its free kicks or open play.
-
Fucking pathetic..
-
Common Taylor. Prove you can score against someone other then us!
-
Not bothered in the slightest with keeping Wigan within reach personally. The teams below us are my only concern, common Wigan!!!
-
He's scored 6 goals total for Wigan with 4 of them against us! I know why though:
-
Don't understand how anyone can say we're a 70-80% chance of going down like You'd think our form was terrible and we're free falling down the league or something, its not and we're not! I'm worried like anyone but I'm not going to go over the top.
-
He's had a little bit of a bad patch in the last few games, but he had some excellent games before that so lets not jump the gun. He'll still be a class defender for us IMO.
-
But when will they be back?
-
They scored a last minute injury time goal from a free kick that never should have been given. Wigan meanwhile scored a late equaliser that hit Duff on the knee, rebounded off his face and deflected into the net, no luck for others sides like is there?

The apparent motivation for both is to get away and Given also has previous. Fine that's your opinion, but most people don't see it that way, me included. I believe Given's comments came from frustration at how this club is being run. Also the previous you've mentioned came when he wasn't getting a start, so again its really more of a threat rather then a real attempt to leave. Pushy yes but infinitely preferable to that little moaning bastard telling anyone who'll listen how he wants to leave every transfer window, and then claiming he's happy once it closes..
-
Maybe cos he's a damn good player that should be in the first XI? Didn't say otherwise and I'm sure the boos weren't there because he's a bad player. So if we assume the comments he made are true, and they are booing them, they are booing a players ambition? At the end of the day I want 11 players, that are ambitious and want to be the best, I don't think we have many that are, the likes of Butt highlight my point. No they're booing the fact that he thinks its perfectly fine to come out and say how much he'd like to leave, especially to clubs sitting in and around us (and below us) in the league. Its not the first time either so its very understandable that people have now gotten totally sick of the little shit.
-
The difference is the apparent motivation behind both comments, the way they were worded and the frequency with which N'Zogbia changes his mind on the matter. One minute he's happy, next month he wants to go to a big club like 4th bottom Spuds..
-
He must have just fluked all his good defending in the past I suppose
-
Did someone say it was Kenny Miller?
-
We are indeed sh*te. We are in certain danger of going down, no doubt about it. W.H.U.'ve got their act together again recently TBH Portsmouth are though - and so are we. We have exactly the same number of points as West Ham from our last 5 games (6 games with the match today being even).
-
Along with Portsmouth, west ham are in fuckin free fall, how we carnt beat them at home is beyond me. How are they in free fall? They won there last two Premiership games and a cup game before our game today. If anything they're a team who look like they may have gotten over a bad spell and could be on the up again. Until they sell of there players that is..

So what did the league table look like this time last year? I remember people in the past posting links to a site that could give you the league table for certain dates, but can't remember what the link was. I know where we stood on points in comparison to this year, but what about the rest?
-
Oh take the fucking stick out of your arse man

Now you've got him!!
