Would be totally brilliant. Both those clowns back in Prem management. And both of them finish the season above us Yeah both great managers like aren't they
-
He's playing in a winning team with loads of pace and movement around him and threats up front like Carew ect. I could get assists playing for Villa at the moment.

Can't believe Souness is the favourite to take over They were a couple of games from sacking the fucker when we came in and saved them the trouble. Since then he's had a disastrous time here and then no job since, yet they want him back?, what the fuck??
-
the bitterness started a while before the contract shite he stirred up. One or two people on here thought he was shit that's all. It was only after his contract antics that people actually became pissed off at him as far as I remember. Having said that I don't hate him in the slightest. Just think he really had a cheek handing in a transfer request because he wanted a pay rise only a year into a new contract, when he'd had possibly his worst season with us.

They're not upset by one article, she makes it her mission to spout as much bile about Newcastle United and Newcastle in general as she can, no matter if its true or not. I'm not surprised some people have gotten very sick of her bullshit. Wishing her dead is silly, but she's definitely a total cunt in my eyes and I've got no problem saying it.

Yeah they did well against Manure without King and Woodgate, at home I might add, though still a good point. But overall if you look at there record they win far more with King and Woodgate side by side then they do without. Its something like 55% with and 10% without (just from memory so don't quote me on it).
-
Woodgate played every one of those games though. I just wish King had started against Manure, then we'd be up against Dawson and someone else shit. As it is they've got a very good record with King in the side, though I suppose that was King and Woodgate rather then King and Dawson.

How can you compare Barton's time here to Guthrie's? Bartons undoubtedly a good player but overall he's been a nightmare for us, prison, injuries, inconsistent form. Meanwhile Guthrie's come in for one third what we paid for Barton and been quite consistently good. Plus he hasn't gone to jail yet, not even once!

Yeah, but at least the lad can shoot... oh, wait. Yeah, but at least the lad is better than the s*** we got. Better than Jonas? You want to do this the easy way or the hard way? I think they are both good players, but I think Milner got more potential. Milner is much better than Zog and Duff. They aren't both good players, Gutierrez is a very good player who in about 11 games has done more then Milner did in most seasons. Milner is decent, good against teams with a serious lack of pace and quality, but is totally found out against Premiership sides. What potential does he have as well? He's been pretty much the same since we signed him at 18 and he's 23 next month. Jonas is only 25 by the way, but he doesn't need potential because he's already got ability now!

Which clubs? By the way I'd assume we're also offering him a signing on fee.

Might get a free domain name and setup a nice website to voice my views on the cunt.

So if he gets another big injury how will we sell him for £12 million? We need to be careful and try to bring our insane wage bill down a bit. Or at least make sure that much less of it is going to under performing or injured players then in the past.
-
That's pretty much what I suggested we offer him, good if true. We certainly shouldn't offer him a fixed deal on or above what he's on now. Much better to offer him something that insures us to a degree in case of injury but also offers him the possibility of earning slightly over what he makes now if he can stay fit and score goals. I'd have no problem with Owen making £100,000 a week plus if he plays every game and scores 20 goals.

You're blaming them for a player picking up an injury mackems.gif He had injury problems before that, why the fuck do you think they loaned him out? To prove his fitness, and it blew up in their faces Footballers get injuries How would you compare their transfers over the summer, with say Allardyce's success in the market the summer previous? Yes Footballers get injuries, doesn't change the fact that they signed a player with injury problems and got stung, they could have gone for a player who didn't have injury problems. I'd say they did much better then Allardyce overall, Bassong, Coloccini and Gutierrez in particular were excellent signings and Guthrie was a good signing too. To compare like for like then, Rozenhal, Cacapa, Geremi & Smith? What's your point exactly? That they've done a good job. I didn't claim they hadn't done a good job. I already acknowledged that we'd signed some excellent players, that they should be congratulated for the likes of Jonas and that they did much better overall then Allardyce.. Though by the way isn't it a bit unfair to ignore the likes of Faye, Beye and to a lesser extent Enrique (who I still like as a player). Undoubtedly we made much better signings overall under Keegan/Vetere ect, but lets not make it look worse then it was.

You're blaming them for a player picking up an injury mackems.gif He had injury problems before that, why the f*** do you think they loaned him out? Because people at Valencia more than likely thought they were going to sell a few players, they didn't, so they loaned out there new signing because they have better players. Or a combination of that and him having injury problems.

Yeah it'd take ages to read all that, not to mention by the end I'd probably have to find her and kill for Plus I might end up accidentally killing Tallulah Bag from the kids show T-Bag instead. Just not that bothered by how much the cunt got right and wrong.

And yet she got the boardroom shenanigans bang on this summer. We refused to believe her iirc. Wonder who her source is this time? Hardly, all she did was print any negative story she could think of and one or two ended up vaguely close to the truth. If you throw enough shit some of it will stick as the saying goes. Have a gander at a few of these articles and emails she's been writing since March: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/mar/04/newsstory.newcastleunited http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/may/07/newcastleunited.premierleague http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jun/22/newcastleunited.premierleague http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jul/28/newcastleunited.doncaster http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/11/newcastleunited.premierleague1?gusrc=rss&feed=football http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/16/premierleague.newcastleunited http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/19/westhamunited.sunderland http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/25/newcastleunited.boltonwanderers http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,48889.msg1439810.html#msg1439810 http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,48889.msg1439821.html#msg1439821 I think she knew something was up fairly soon. If you disagree then that's fair enough. All taken from the Media thread btw. Reading it over, Taylor and the Daily Mail were all very negative all summer. I haven't read them all and to be honest I can't be bothered, though I noticed in the first article she mentions that "Meanwhile the combination of a generous salary, which is helping reinvigorate Keegan's Soccer Circus business in Glasgow, and a burning desire to confound those who dub him a serial quitter virtually rule out the possibility of the former England coach resigning." Not exactly spot on there then But seriously, I'm sure your right in that she got some things correct, but so did a lot of people. I just don't agree that she was actually spot on. IMO she printed a huge amount of negative stories, some no doubt with genuine sources and some without, about a situation which always had the potential for disaster, some of it stuck and plenty of it didn't.

Because you know for a fact he did a lot of good for us? Nobody knows how well he did he job..

They're made some very good signings, but they also made some poor ones, especially Gonzales which has been an utter disaster. Meanwhile they left numerous holes in the squad while £12 or so million sat in the bank unused. They also missed out on quite a few signings, and I'd hardly say Jiminez hoodwinked Mallorca into handing over Jonas for peanuts, they had no say in the matter. But I congratulate them none the less for identifying him and acting quickly to sign him first. In other words its been a very mixed bag IMO.

You're right it looks much worse then the Emirates, it looks like some kind of plastic moulded piece of shit to me.
