Who said that about Dos Santos?, who actually gave a shit about Dos Santos?..
  2. You mean plenty of wierdo's with questionable sexuality?
  3. What a ray of light you are...

I'd pay £16 million at most, well not me personally, obviously.

How can that be?, they've already signed Arshavin, as well as Pavlyuchenko.. oh wait, no they haven't its just that everyone just keeps acting as if they have.. I just saw Martin Jol rambling on about how Spurs sign such big players these days and quoting "Modric, Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko" as three examples
  6. They've obviously been saving that up for the moment we make a big signing.. classic propaganda from the Nazi.. er I mean London press

For a start they haven't signed Arshavin and most likely won't, second I seriously doubt there current wage structure is anything like the tight budget shown in the 2006-2007 financials.
  8. Wasn't there an English language Depor forum somewhere on the net? I thought I remember looking at one during the Luque transfer..
  9. It'd be a lot more than 63 pages if the thread was about how s*** SUPERTOON is tbh. oww that really hurt I thought I told you to shut up. You did indeed but then you also said we were ITK and were signing Kapo and Crouch
  10. Sounds perfect - why don't we just go sign him instead?? Because he's not as good, he's just the best they can get on a tight budget to try to replace Coloccini.
  11. Your head wouldn't be turned by a potential haul of Dos Santos, Arshavin, Pav., Bentley, and Modric compared to our Guthrie, Gutierrez and Bassong? Worse off than last year? With the potential addition of Villa to replace Berbatov? Bollocks. Harp on about their defence if you like, it's no worse than anyone else's outside the top four or five, especially no worse than ours. Daft daft daft. You're comparing the Spuds potential signings with our actual signings so far! Why do some people have to be deliberately negative about our own side yet exaggerate how good things are at other clubs, its f***ing crazy!
  12. Why would they? Well they're f***ed financially. The player wants to go and is threatening to leave for close to nowt when he next gets the chance. Also they can't afford to risk losing the player much later in the transfer window (if they get the right offer they can't really afford to refuse it no matter when its offered) and be left without the time to buy a replacement. Suppose it all comes down to just how crazy their president really is.
  13. Think you're getting confused with the fee, don't know where you're getting £7 million from. We've offered 11 million Euro's (£8.7 million) plus 1 million Euro's on apearances (£9.5 million total). That's the fee they asked for and now they want more. Its not about the price, its about how they're upping the fee after initially agreeing to it.
  14. Two in the next two weeks! There's a month left in the transfer window..
  15. "Like West Ham did with us over Dyer, let us the board have a bit rant but cave-in." I put "us" in by a mistake, but apart from that, not sure what's unclear tbh. Well the "us" bit obviously
  16. Report on sky sports news this morning says they have spent £43m with £39m coming back in. They have done some very good deals selling players. Which players were they including, those figures don't look quite right.
  17. If that was his point then he used pretty odd wording.. BTW as far as I remember we cancelled the transfer initially because we were unhappy with something West Ham had done.
  18. That's always how he wins. Thing is though, they're the one's holding all the Aces. Like West Ham did with us over Dyer, let us the board have a bit rant but cave-in. Can't see us attracting anybody better for £10m, so just do it. We didn't cave in to anything with Dyer, they caved and came back with more money..
  19. So we knew Owen would twist his knee at the world cup? We knew Duff would break his foot or that he wasnt going to settle? They were not signings of players 'over the hill' or past their best when we signed them. Emre never took to the premiership and Duff's form has been woeful but in neither case can that be attributed to age. Owen's injury at the world cup has nothing what so ever to do with it, neither does Duff's injury, age doesn't either. Actually that's the very reason why he missed the point so badley. See nobody mentioned age as the reason why any of these players were past there best. Owen had already has bad injuries before signing for us and had lost a decent amount of pace well before we signed him. Duff had hit terrible form at Chelsea and was basically shit for a full season before we signed him.
