If Woodgate and Coloccini both played for us I'd still pick Coloccini.

Which top teams buy 32 year olds for big money though?

Have to say i'd have liked him only on loan but I think Saviola is the better prospect, Can play as striker or attacking midfield. We'd only really need a powerhouse in a holding midfield role and a left back. Ideal situation is Saviola, Attacking midfielder, Holding Midfielder and left back but a bit of a big ask in 2 weeks unless the deals have been worked on for sometime. When it comes to centre midfielders, we need someone with a "quality" that they can bring to the side. Now i know that sounds obvious but what i mean is, we need someone who can bring a more specfic attribute. For example, if we brought in Tim Cahill we know he would get beyond the strikers and grab us a few goals from midfield or if we got Diarra we know he would dominate the midfield and win the ball. Although, Tiago is decent on the ball i feel right now we need a player that adds something special to our midfield. Frings would do it especially if the purse strings have been loosened. Too old, he's 32 in three months time.

Either way he'll have the final say before the deal is all finalised.

No way that we can sign 4 players in two weeks It takes us 3 months to sign 4 players and now we are suddenly going to sign another 4 in 2 weeks. Aint going to happen people. Expect one more signing We'll have been working on some of the players Keegans referring to as long or longer then others we've already signed. Its not a case of signing four in three months and then four in two weeks, its eight in three and a half months.

Why not?, we're likely in negotiations involving several players right now, obviously its realistic for 3 or 4 of those to come off in Keegans opinion.

To be fair when Berbatov came on the Spuds suddenly looked dangerous, where before they looked pretty lame up front. Hopefully he goes as soon as possible, preferably abroad, but if it has to be to Manure then fair enough.

Woodgate was a fantastic player when fit, not so sure about him now. Coloccini's a class act as well, though admittedly I've seen a lot less of him then Woodgate. Still he's two years younger (exactly 2 years as well, both born January 22 ) and far less injury prone. So I'm definitely happier with Coloccini then I would have been with Woodgate

Again, we're linked with this bloke every summer. I'd seriously question his motives as a Footballer but a loan means that doesn't really matter to much. Still I think this is once again going to be a saga that ends with him staying were he is or moving to another massive club he's got no chance of getting regular Football with..
