Which form table are you referring to? The one I posted on the previous page http://www.footballanorak.com/FA-Barclaycard-Premiership-Form-Guide-0.html Based on the last 6 games, isn't that quite a random number to base it on??
-
Don't be so stupid.. Nobody really cares about Geremi and you know it, the players people think will improve us from the African Nations are Beye, Faye and Martins, which they will do. Also nobody's mentioned top half, we just aren't silly enough to believe we're going to get relegated.

You're correct of course that some of the teams below us have been gaining on us in the last 10 games, but not enough of them and none of them enough to show they'll finish above us. Here's the points gained for the bottom 9 teams in the last 10 games (plus projected points total based on those points): Derby - 1 points (9) Fulham - 3 points (20) Newcastle - 9 points (41) Birmingham - 9 points (34) Reading - 9 points (36) Sunderland - 10 points (35) Boro - 12 points (40) Wigan - 12 points (38) Bolton - 13 points (41) For us to have any problem Brum, Reading, Sunderland, Boro, Wigan and Bolton are all going to have to improve on there points per game average over the next 15 games and we have to get worse, is that likely? I realise we have some difficult teams coming up, but we now have the plus point of not being managed by Allardyce Also is it really likely that none of those other teams have harder games coming up then they had in the previous 10 games?, that's extremely unlikely IMO.

Do you think the failure to push on is due to the change of manager? Newcastle had Allardyce, a confirmed 4-5-1 man, boring tactically, long ball, solid defensively. So SA started to buy the type of players he needed for his system. Allardyce gets sacked, KK comes in, a manager who couldn't be more at the opposite of the managerial spectrum, 4-4-2, attacking football, we'll score more than you will. KK's problem is that he hasn't got many of the type of player he needs to play the style he wants to. No, No and No, first of all Allardyce's team was not solid defensively. Second we have players far better suited to Keegan's way of playing then Allardyce, and finally had Allardyce stayed we would be in far more danger of relegation. The failure this season is down to Allardyce, changing manager has possibly saved us. I genuinely believe that had he stayed there was a chance of relegation, his team didn't look capable of beating anyone without spades of luck, even the worst in the league. As for the original poster, sorry man but you've lost your mind. Three wins would keep us up and we have Fulham, Boro, Sunderland, Reading and Blackburn at all home, we also have some mid table teams to play away who we can nick points from.

That would be a great way to lose Keegan before he's even begun, I seriously doubt it.

If this happens I wonder exactly what the Spuds fans will say? Earlier he was a s*** mercenery with no interest in Football, known to be a money grabber and not fit to tie Dawsons shit laces No doubt now history will be re-written as Woodgate being a great lad who is not interested in money and is happy being paid £3.50 a week if it means playing for the mighty Spuds. Oh and also he'll now be the second best defender in the country, second to the best defender of all time, Ledley King
-
There would be no point in doing that at all, Spuds point blank refuse to pay over £45,000 a week to anyone.
-
Given Carr Taylor Cacapa Enrique Milner Butt Zog Duff Owen Smith Hopefully that's the formation, either that or switch Duff and Zog.
-
As I said he's not particularly fast running with the ball, he also has the strange problem of almost never making good runs in behind the defence. So yeah its not really obvious, the only time you can see his speed is when he chases the ball down, which is also something he doesn't do enough of..
-
no doubt some ITK will claim we are paying 7m cash upfront and they were offering £3.50p upfront and the rest based on how many times he breaths in the next 10 years Both ridiculous and shortsighted comments. Spurs have a rigid wage structure - we all know that. If Spurs are paying 8M transfer fee, and we are paying 7M transfer fee, yet Spurs are paying 50k per week wage, and we match Woodgate's current pay 70k per week - within a year our expenditure on Woodgate would have matched Spurs, and after a year we would start paying 20k more per week than Spurs. What is there to laugh at Spurs if we are getting Woodgate on the basis of paying more money? We're paying him what he gets at Boro from what I have seen, which is £59k.
-
He probably means quickest on the ball. Martins is very fast when running without the ball, but he hasn't got the control to run particularly fast with it.
-
Mansfield off the bar twice! EDIT: Ah second one was a save actually
-
I considered changing my post to "Are you being serious?", but thought, fuck it I want to say this anyway wether he is or isn't
-
To be fair we are obviously paying him twice as much as they were willing to. Why else would he come here? More charasmatic manager?, billionaire owner?, plus he's a north east lad who doesn't think London is some kind of wonderland.. I'd say those are all possible reasons as well. Maybe he also thinks that, shock horror, Spurs aren't as amazing as the London hacks would have us believe? They've done well over the last few years, but have shown that the clubs obvious limitations makes it almost impossible to kick on and move into the top four. What must Woodgate have thought when they offered him as much as they could and it didn't even match his Boro wages?
-
Err, its just a question davey boy.. answer it, don't answer it, its that easy I genuinly just wondered if anyone has looked at the regulations on this?
-
Its exactly that continuity which could have seen us relegated though.. We got 9 points from our last 13 games under sam with a loss and a draw against the Premiership whipping boys, and the games were just about to get harder.
-
Why is that?, I find that a bit f****** ridiculous! not that it's a state secret or anything it's published on the Newcastle Football Club website. It's a pain in the arse but you have to have a license (which you have to pay for) in order to publish fixtures and we don't have it. It's stupid but we run the risk of being shut down if they're posted as we don't have the relevant permissions. Sahree. It does seem absolutely incredible that people can try to charge people for a couple of words! Will they be charging for the word 'and' next?? Does anyone have a link to any details on this because I just find it hard to believe it can be this crazy. I mean I can get my head around licensing for an entire fixture list, or even half of one, but not a few names, especially if they're not even in the correct order (its not even a fixture list if there in the wrong order! )

He was 26 when he joined Wigan, he's only 28 now (29 in a months time).

Sounds like it was written by Jol or some other Spurs fan

"alot of them are quite smug and DELUDED..." Not many people like that on here is there? This forum is a eutopia of common sense and realism in comparison to any Spurs forum I've ever been on. They are completely deluded, from there belief that they were a top side the moment they finished 5th once in over 10 years of lower then mid table mediocrity. To there gang of ITK's who think they know not only everything that's happening with the Spuds but also everything that's going to happen at every other club as well. Obviously they must have plenty of decent fans, but overall they are the most deluded fans I've ever witnessed apart from the Stoke lot, who were frankly insane!
-
One good game from Jenas and we should want him back? Bollocks mate, the goldfish bowl is in the lads head and he'll never be a top player..
-
45-50 IMO. Had Allardyce stayed I'd be predicting 35-40.
-
Nothing that annoys Spurs fans is ever pointless
-
Well Berbatov's 2 years younger and a better Footballer IMO.
