Same league as Bentley? Bentley's two years older then Zog remember. Bentley's improved a lot over the last 2 years.. Zog still had those years to come.

Hleb has to be in there, he looks like some kind of monster from greek mythology. Also Adebayor looks like a human/beatle hybrid so he'd have to be at least in the squad if not the starting 11. Owen?..

Why did you have to go and ruin a otherwise ok(ish) post?.. As to the topic, Keegan will get a long time hear, easily long enough for him to be able to bring in better players and show a good improvement. Anyone who even suggests he should be sacked to me is going to get the verbal slapping of a life time..

Also if he wants to leave it should be made clear he'll have to go abroad. Its no good selling good players, who could one day be great, to competing teams.

Should None Season Ticket Holders Have Their Own Forum?
Teasy replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
No, IMO we should have a forum for everyone who has the most expensive season ticket avaiable, because only those people deserve an opinion Also you should qualify for this forum if you post pictures of Newcastle United merchandise equivalent to the price of that ticket. Of course everyone who doesn't qualify should be rounded up and put into consentration camps... Check yourself into an asylum Grumpy c***, save us the bother on here.. -
We can but hope... Until recently Spurs had the attitude that they wouldn't pay big wages until they were a top 4 side. Now they're prepared to pay a crock £65,000 a week and pushing through transfers despite failed medicals (I can't see why Hertha would lie about this). So I'd say you have reason for more then hope Woodgate isn't on £65k pw, he's 4th highest earner behind King, Berbatov and Keane. There will be performance bonuses on top but if he was on £65k before, he's taken a significant pay cut. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=48098.msg1187589#msg1187589 I knew I'd get some kind of Spurs ITK reply Tell me, how is it that every Spurs fan knows exactly what's going on at Spurs (and most other clubs usually)?.... Every report I've seen says £65,000 a week, which is slightly more then he was on at Boro, pay cut?, you must be mad.

I thought exactly the same. What a complete waste of time that must have been for someone to compile all that. Not necesarilly, he may have used the info to wind his players up and help create that seige mentality that kept Bolton in the league.
-
He refused to take any blame at all. He said there were three groups of people to blame, the owner/Chairman, the players and the press. He also claimed that he was only branded a long ball merchant because he used that kind of tactic to beat "the big teams". So obviously the likes of Derby, Sunderland and Wigan are what he considered big teams... He did make a few good points. For instance when asked if he found it strange to have a young up and coming manager like Wise in a role of such massive importance as director of Football he said that people were getting too hung up on the title. That just because his title is director that doesn't mean he's overseeing everything nor does it mean he's above Keegan. He also said that while at Bolton they had kept all stats over the years and proven that decisions by refs don't even themselves out for certain teams..

Aside from not having a striker who can actually score goals, Boro really are a team superior to us in every aspect. (Well, maybe not Schwarzer. Worst goalie in the Premiership IMO) Any one of Wheater, Huth, Rochemback, Arca, Downing would walk straight into our team. Arca would have been a canny winter buy, actually. Hold on, they're superior to us in every way because they have 5 players who would get into our team in your opinion?.. Don't you realise that means we have 6 players who would get into there team? mackems.gif Individually we're about at the same level but as a unit they funciton far better. It's a silly point, but Pogatetz - Enrique, Gary O'Neil - Milner are debatable anyway so really only Given, Owen, Viduka/Martins, Beye would probably walk into their team. Not sure if they'd consider Beye a significant upgrade over Luke Young either. I agree more or less, I think overall we have the better players (I'd take about 4 of theres tops) but they're a better unit at the moment, which makes for two quite equal teams on the day. I just thought it was funny when he said that they were superior in every department because they have five players who would get into our team
-
Oh for f*** sake stop revelling in self pity. As if Boro were the only team missing players, Beye, Faye, Martins, Enrique. The fact is we won today but for a pathetic refereeing decision, it wasn't a great performance, but when are games against Boro great performances? They actually think they're playing in a derby match remember.

Want Sunderland to win. Will be much better for football in general if the dominance of the Big 4 is broken. Agreed. same would love liverpool missing out on the champion's league, those texan wankers might go and royally screw the club over then. and i dont see any of the others (everton, villa, pompey etc) being good enough to make a significant impact on the champions league either so it would be a short lived affair. couldnt care less if the mackems get to only one point behind us, that's all close as they'll get they're s**** and if they win today it'll be a fluke not cos they're any good. A fluke that could keep them up and put us in trouble, big trouble if we then don't beat Boro.

Is Enrique still injured?
-
He was never offered the job, he loves to claim he was though..
-
Well he will report to the chairman and to Keegan obviously, one of his main jobs is a liaison between the team/manager and the board/chairman.
-
I agree it would be a bit of a disaster for the game to be called off. If it was we then have four very difficult games to follow, realistically we could lose them all and then what state would we be in? Boro is our best chance by far to get a win in the next 5 games and its perfectly positioned to give us some confidence for those following games if we can win.

Has anyone tried to claim that the photo of him with the Newcastle shirt is photoshopped yet? That's got to be the next step in this saga of denial

Twice the man Carr is Carr's not worth £1 million though, never mind £2 million. No fat b****** wise fella But surely its price per pound when dealing with dumb animals?

Does anyone actually give a fuck about Alvaro?
