Isn't he rated to be the better than Depay as well? Not even close So how good is he? Well, to my mind Memphis Depay, who is 4 years younger, is already a better player and has the potential to become Van Persie/Robben level. Wijnaldum on the other hand is what I would classify as a fairly solid squad player at international level for Holland. For me, he probably wouldn't have been a starter in Brazil, and I think he was often the weak link when he played. Probably a similar level to Cabaye and Sissoko for me. Sissoko with more technical ability/a brain?
-
Reporter talking about how Pardew signed him for Newcastle.. The fucker had nowt to do with it, bet he'd never heard of him until he turned up for training.
-
More intelligent version of Sissoko?
-
As shit as Coloccini's been in the last couple of years he's still done far more here than Owen ever did.
-
As long as none of Cisse, Sissoko and Cabella make way for them I'd be pretty happy with those additions, especially if Williamson does make way for Matip.
-
Well they shouldn't be counted IF the question is which players do we need to replace to be on par with last season, that's all. Nowt flawed about that. Obviously them not being here made us worse last season and they should have been replaced back then (or better yet not been thrown away to begin with) and certainly should now, so we can try to avoid the same shit again. I was only making a point relivent to the question that was asked.
-
We finished how many points above the relegation places last season? The question was how many players do we need to sign to have parity with last season. Not how many do we need to sign to not be as shit as last season
-
Ben Arfa, Yanga-Mbiwa and Santon played how many games last season?
-
To be fair we've never recovered from his departure. Utter dogshit since he went. which is largely down to pardew as opposed to losing him, we didn't have to be half as shit as we were Pardew was indeed shit..... But he had so little respect for himself there was not a chance the players would respect him. We paid him peanuts and got a compliant yes monkey. The new manwill go the same way. The man was impossible to respect whether he was a yes man or not. He's a sleazy coward with no coaching ability or tactical knowledge who somehow manages to have a ego the size of the titanic, not a good combination of characteristics.

11m pounds not euro Figure is incorrect, on a technicality. His point stands though add to that.... cementing a spot in a strong national team, three years (?) left on his contract so they're/PSV not exactly in a weakened position at the negotiating table, and PSV set a high bar already this summer when they sold Depay to Manyoo for 25m. PSV traditionally are big money sellers. For Unbelievable - the 'Porto' of Dutch football? You would think a figure of closer to 20m would prick their ears up. £11m - what a f***ing joke. It's such a disrespectful bid. I really do hope Charnley is sent home with histail.between his legs. You reckon he's nearly as good as Depay then?

Have other reports claimed its been accepted? Can only see the Chronicle articles linked here.
-
Why would he bother? Why not? Apparently we keep harassing him and apparently he keeps telling people he doesn't want to come. Wouldn't it be simpler for him just to use his twitter account and say " I have no interest in signing for Newcastle"? Not much effort involved.
-
Ah missed that, well at least L'Équipe have zero credibility. Though I suppose Le Parisien do (?).
-
Why doesn't he just say it publicly? It's not exactly hard.
-
Also?, who else has said he's decided to join Palace?
-
Maybe, if he goes. Probably do enough to save the cunts skin for a couple of years. Won't disguise his horrendous Football though
-
As if Palace signing Cabaye is a forgone conclusion..
-
Is Carver coming back dressed as Santa like?
-
Won't believe he's going there till I see something a bit more concrete.
-
How reliable are the Guardian? Since they're the only ones reporting this.
-
Add Ben Arfa in their as well, won the fucker games by himself at times that season despite being marginalised.

We've got Sissoko, Anita, Marveaux, De Jong, Cabella, Tiote and Abeid. Plenty of coaches have produced decent Football teams with less talented central midfielders. I'm not saying we have a great midfield and don't need to buy. I'm just saying that I don't believe our midfield is shit based on watching them under Pardew and Carver. I've seen so many teams with bang average players out play us. For instance Swansea, and I don't think that's because Leon Britton was a class player, he just looked good at the time because he was part of a team who were coached well.
-
Marveaux can pass a ball, Anita could before he joined this fucking mess of a club. Every side in the league looked better than us in the second half of the season. Is that because they all have better players? Or because they at least have professional coaches? We do need better players, I just won't right off the players we have until I see them trained by professionals.

http://i.imgur.com/2fMqSrX.png We dont need any more fucking midfielders/attacking midfielders. CB's should be priority. 3 of 'em Our midfielders are shit though, although I get where you're coming from. Buying players based on what we need hasn't been a concern for an age though, I assume this guy might be flipped for profit although transfermarkt says he's contracted 'til 2018 and PSV paid €6.5m for him and are notorious profit merchants themselves. I don't accept that our midfielders are shit though, not when all they've been coached by is Carver and Stone. They'll all get a clean slate from me.

I suppose they were still here this time last year and should have been first teamers, but in reality (due to he who must not be named) they weren't and ended up making one appearance between the three of them.
