Another loan for Borini? Weren't they trying to buy him last season? Would have thought Liverpool would have insisted on a transfer.
-
IMO if Cisse stays (which IMO depends on wether we can find someone willing to pay enough for him or not) we have good options. Cisse, Mitrovic, Perez, Riviere, all different kinds of striker and the first 3 very good players. Having said that IF we can find a club for Cisse I do think he'll be off and so we'll need a replacement.
-
I reckon he rates him. You can see what McClaren has done with players he doesn't rate. Fair play to him for that, but Obertan should be treated just like Williamson and Gouffran. Don't believe he rates him personally, we'll see, but IMO he won't keep starting him once more players are fully fit.
-
In that case I want him to sign even more!
-
But then why say it? Is he a mental case that just goes on twitter and says random things that have no meaning?
-
Could mean anything and likely means nothing Can think of four possibilities: He's on a wind up He sees the Premier League as his future long term He's signing for us He's signing for Southampton
-
Nah Obertan won't be playing much longer like, not for us anyway.
-
Just looked like the players where tired and under pressure and so reverted back to their years of "coaching" under Pardew. Keep working on it and hopefully soon that will be eradicated.
-
If he'd given a red there it would have been a completely mental decision.
-
Fuck fair play though its Stoke and I've wanted Shaqiri here for a while as well
-
Of course, but I don't think the club will see it that way due to Cisse's contract and age. If they think they can sell him and use that money to replace him with Austin who's 4 years younger and will then be on a 5 year contract they'll do it.
-
If Shaqiri goes to stoke I may throw up.
-
Let me guess, Palace weren't one of those teams?
-
No problem with it personally, think he'll replace Berahino as well.
-
Based on? Might be a good player, but not sure how you can decide its a better signing at this point. For a start he's older, more expensive and his record doesn't look better.
-
Like when we started really early in that intertoto cup yonks ago...and ended up finishing 4th. We didn't actually play in Europe following that though, so while we started early competitively we had relatively few games that season to tire us owt.

Its not neccesarily a case of Mbemba being the rock Coloccini can latch on to. But rather simply that Mbemba's attributes (pace, strength, aggression and a decent leap) should help to compensate for Coloccini's deficiencies in those area's and perhaps give him a better chance to focus on his game. As opposed to when he's playing next to Williamson who has all the same deficiencies as Coloccini and then some. Which leaves him having to try to cover for everything and coming up short.

Honestly if he starts man, him or Gouffran, Jesus It's happening http://i.imgur.com/RwR2kY3.jpg Don't think either will start.
-
The only player he doesn't name is the only good player he's signed at Palace, the only player that could possibly lend any credence to his argument that he wants to have a exciting team. But he doesn't mention him because he was previously bought for him at Newcastle when he had absolutely no idea who he was

Think that's a myth tbh, the whole caring and fighting bollocks anyway. Just think we haven't been good enough for a long time and an easy cop out is they don't care or up for it, when in reality IMO anyway is that they just haven't been good enough fullstop. This unfortunately, and that doesn't just go for the playing squad sadly. The none playing staff was actually the biggest area where we weren't good enough.
-
I'm betting Mitrovic will give a shit for one and will absolutely show it.
-
Don't think age equals maturity like, for instance Taylor plays with the maturity of a 10 year old. Even if he thinks of our senior center backs as Mbemba, Coloccini and Taylor (Williamson being not good enough to consider) he's absolutely right that it isn't enough senior players in that position. That's before considering the fact that Taylors made of lego.

Think people just want the entire country to suffer like we did so finally they can all see, especially the press who will tear him to shreds as England manager.

A good season in terms of assists (12) last season compared to 4 the season previously. As for goals, he's scored 4 in 2 seasons (3 of them coming against the Mackems in 1 game) so he's not much of a threat in that regard. Worth no more than £12m on the back of last season, I doubt he'll be able to build on that tbh. He got 6 assists last season as far as I can see (?) I agree anyway though, around £10m is probably still a realistic amount considering he's home grown as well. But with his contract he'll have to go this summer for them to get anything like that.
