Where you getting 80/1?, best I can see is 50/1. Not that it'll happen like, almost 0 chance really, but 80/1 still might tempt me.

Yes he should be playing deeper, but not because he has any problem keeping possession with his back to goal given support. Because he's class on the ball and bringing him deeper would allow us to get him on the ball more.

Useless with his back to goal and can rarely bring others into play?, I've heard it all now like.. When the ball is played into his feet with his back to goal he's very good at keeping it either with a sharp turn or intelligently passing it off, assuming there's anyone near him. Obviously when there's no other Newcastle player within 40 yards he's not going to be able to bring people into play and its going to be difficult to beat the entire opposition defence by himself. But his initial control and ability to turn away means he certainly could keep the ball reliably and bring people into play with some support. The reason the ball doesn't stick for us is purely down to lack of support from midfield and not Ayoze.

They won't go down. They were in a far worse position this time last season with even more difficult fixtures to play and stayed up. The 3 that's there now will more than likely go down but if one of them stops up it'll be at the expense of Hull. They were in a worse position last year, it took a miraculous turnaround in form and a total collapse from the teams around them to save them. This time around Leicester, Burnley, QPR and Villa all look capable of picking up points and outside of playing us Sunderland are being walloped at home by 4 by shit teams every week. Think they'll need another 6-7 points to stay up, they might get them, but its not a forgone conclusion IMO.
