Does anybody know if MOTD is on tonight?
-
I wonder how long this has really been in the works. I bet that without a game today, this wouldn't have happened, and would probably have been better for everyone.
-
There have been 2 amazing games on tonight, the insantiy at Havant and Waterlooville and shenanigans at Newcastle, but they pick THE most boring game to put on telly. Man City 0-0 West Ham. One shot on goal this entire game.
-
If it's really in the Times then it might have legs. The idea of Keegan as a caretaker until the end of the season appeals to me somewhat, but I'm not sure if the "dream team" is the right move.
-
The commentators were having a little ManUtd jizzfest the whole match, but one of them was right when he said that the scale of the task here has never been clearer. Who the hell would want to come and be manager here now? Well done to Given, Taylor and N'Zogbia, who had decent games, and cheers Alan for removing yourself from contention for the next 3 games. I'm sure you deserved it whatever you said.

Straight red, said something stupid to the referee.

Fucking smith
-
I think he'd be a very good appointment, but not my first choice(Should be a voting option btw).
-
Pearson will certainly pick Taylor and Smith. We'll lose 0-2.
-
How was this by mutual consent? They just read Allardyce's reaction on 606 and he said that he was shocked by it. Sort of implies he was more of a termination than mutual consent?

For the first time since Souness was here, I'm actually worried about relegation. Not terribly worried, but with our upcoming schedule, I am starting to get nervous.
-
Christ. Awful. Carroll should have come on much sooner.
-
Reading have a very different attitude from other Premiership clubs, and they have since they came into the league. Even when they were doing well, finishing in the top 10 in their first year, Europe was not a priority, because they knew they'd pull a West Ham and end up in a relegation fight with that distraction.

Bugs.

Well done Villa. Always rated Mellberg, think we could have gotten him on the cheap a few years ago.
-
Richards, Hunt, Niemi, and Upson all on the bench. :-[ A potential 74 is actually a 57.
-
I bet he'll play for us again, everyone said the same type of things when Dyer and Bowyer had their little spat, but that didn't keep either of them from playing almost right away.
-
Embarrasing to lose to a team that's made one transfer since September...
-
Don't see a slaughter, Chelsea haven't been very good lately, we'll probably just watch it slip slowly away over the course of the match, 2-0.

I think he will become a British citizen, hence why he can play for England. I know It's not the point is it? He was born in Spain. What about the technically Canadian Owen Hargreaves? I can handle someone who's roots are based within our nation, but to have someone who was born in a neighbouring european country with absolute no link to the nation but 'qualify' through technicalities is just a little bit too much for me. Almunia=qualified englishman Englishman, in your own words? I can absolutely understand your sentiment, I am against the appointment of Capello, or any other foreign coach. But Almunia if he qualifies technically as an Englishman surely must be considered as Englishman? I don't rate Almunia and I don't wish him near the national team because he is no better than who are already there. But if he decides to be an English and he is accepted legally then he must receive equal treatement, as guaranteed constitutionally, as other law abiding Englishman. Almunia hasn't suddenly become English though, he'll just have lived long enough in England to qualify. I seriously doubt he's about to give up his Spanish citizenship just to play for England. If he qualifies, he should be in the team because he's good enough and he should play because he's the best player in that position, end of.

Still think today confirms that neither Liverpool nor Chelsea are title candidates. Man Utd can goto the mackems and win 4-0, but Liverpool can barely win at Derby.

Despite all of those questions there, how could you not have been proud after the Arsenal match?
