Watching him to be entertained, fair enough. Watching him to get an educated opinion on football, get to fuck.
-
There was plenty, like, but everyone was getting it from most of the bew boys.
-
Don’t think he was done any favours by being played on the right, but dear Christ he was fucking shite. Burn barely any better, like.
-
Not sure he comes back from this in the eyes of a lot of supporters, unfortunately. It wasn’t pleasant viewing watching him and the players getting booed all the way around the pitch at the end of the game, though a fair few were clapping in defiance still. I do think he’s more than earned next season, but with the caveat that he has to reinvent the squad and the tactical approach. When he joined and implemented the pressing style in his first full season we were the best in the league at it, but teams are much more used to playing through it or subverting it altogether now and we’ve never really looked like overcoming that in recent times. I do think that’s true for a lot of sides in the league, this season especially, as it’s by no means just us who look a pale shadow of our former selves. The bloom is off the rose, either way. I always knew that the cup final was likely to be our greatest day, and it’s hard to see how we ever better that with the rules as they are without a minor miracle.

Thought he was the only one today that really played the game as though his life depended on it, and was actually decent on the whole alongside that. The rest were varying degrees of off their game to hideous.

He was quite clearly hiding at points in the second half. I’m pretty sure it was Graeme Jones who instigated him being hooked for Osula, as he jumped up off the bench to get in Howe/Tindall’s ears after a particular instance of half-arsing, then the next thing Osula was being called back and readied.

Livramento, Tonali, and Gordon of the ‘big’ names. In that order of preference. I’d have gotten shot of Botman first, like, but looks like he’s staying regardless. Wissa, Elanga, Willock, Pope, Woltemade, Barnes, and Murphy can all get in the sea to varying degrees, an’ all.
-
He’s absolute toilet. Darlow/Elliot level.
-
Can’t believe he got on the pitch after the most half-hearted half-time warmup I’ve watched since Willock had his pet lip out. What a fucking abomination of a signing he’s turned out to be.
-
He’s never been consistently good at right back since he got here. His marking of Lewandowski on Wednesday and of Brobbey today was criminal. He’s a left back, but unless we’re planning on moving Hall to midfield, that’s no fucking use to us.
-
If Woltemade can’t get up for this one then there’s nee hope for him. I’m backing him, mind, Wor Eddie knows best. INTO THESE SISTER FUCKING CUNTS!!!

This pretty much sums it up for me. From the high of coming back twice after gifting them two goals to the low of where we ended up was tough to take. Been in a bit of a daze since about the 70th minute and still feeling the same today. Suppose it’s canny that we all still care so much, but I’d rather it didn’t affect me this profoundly when we lose a big game.

Glad we brought Tino on.

Was sitting grinning like a loon thinking we were going in 2-2 at HT in Camp Nou after being behind twice to two shite goals. Regardless of the third, it’s insane we’re in this position these days.
-
Started the game like a flaming bag of turd but love the confidence he’s shown since he bagged his TWO. That move he started from the right-back position and was involved with throughout was unreal.
-
Well I suppose they’ve just shaded it, so it’s hard to argue with the score, but the lack of consistency in the officiating is infuriating again. We’ve shown tremendous spirit but the defending has been pish.

Should we not keep him and peddle Pope? Surely prime time for the inevitable move up to Celtic.
