Botman's pass straight out of play and then his being caught in no man's land shortly afterwards for their goal took a bit of the shine off an otherwise class performance, for me. Not for many others, though, it seems: Wor Fab will never be fully appreciated by the masses. He was the better of the two tonight, as tends to be the way. I feel like he’s been off it for ages, aye. By “it” I mean his superb opening half-season of form, though, which was genuinely unbelievable. Maybe that’s just not his permanent level?
