Any time it’s ankle and a visit to the specialist it’s not going to be great news like.
  2. 90% increase in commercial revenue seems canny.

There’s a massive danger of this becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy like. I’m not particularly looking forward to it, but I’m going to try and force myself to give it some. I’ll have to hit Magdad up for a little bumper.
  4. I thought hearing/seeing people clapping Anderson taking a corner that subsequently led to a goal for the opposition was the most bewildered I’d feel at SJP this season. Then people clapped off Minteh after he’d scored against us.
  5. About as 4-3-3/4-5-1 as it gets. Only Tino's switch over to the right knacks it.
  6. You'd have an audience of at least one for this.

I know what you mean, but I just don't think it's his game. He's managed 1 goal and 1 assist (2 if we give him yesterday for the penalty win) in 48 matches worth of minutes for us. I've got no issues with his one-on-one defending or tidyness on the ball, but he leaves a load to be desired as an attacking outlet, especially on the right.

I don't think so, like, there've been numerous times this season where the players have been visibly frustrated at the lack of backing and tried to gee the crowd up. Them and the coaching staff will be able to feel it more keenly than most, you'd think, and it must get fed back.

Some people seem to be, aye, I already gave my opinion on what the main driving factor is. People are harking for something that only really exists in the very best of times, but the club could be doing more to improve the atmosphere.

What are his strengths? To me, his main strength looks like it's cutting inside onto his stronger foot so the pitch opens up to him and he can pick a pass then make an overlapping/underlapping run as a decoy. He's never going to be able to do that from the right and he doesn't seem to back himself one-on-one when given the chance to beat a man and hit the byline. His crossing and final ball is a definite weakness currently, too.
  12. He just came across like an insecure/arrogant whopper mostly, while Antonio seemed pretty sound and down to earth, if a bit thick.

ST holders, effectively, as has been pointed out already within the past page.
  14. Never really warmed to him because of when he signed and who he signed for, similar with Willock. Listening to his podcast weekly didn't do my opinion of him any favours, either. Won't be at all sad to see the back of him this summer. He's still got the chance to go out on a high, mind.

    Harvey Barnes

Just thought he was bang average. Some nice touches/passes and helped out quite well defensively, but held the ball too long in a few critical moments (most notably on the Isak offside goal).

He's comfortably better at LB than RB, unfortunately, bit of the Santons about him.

They scrapped the 6th sub in extra-time for some reason, so nah. Was tailor-made for Krafthu. They also had Pedro hobbling about tbf, so it was essentially 9 vs. 9.

Cracking post, that. There are a ton of things they could be doing to improve things, but our executive team seems to move at a glacial pace even when trying to do stuff. I also agree it's costing us points/wins at times.

The atmosphere is nowhere near it was in that first six-to-18 months under Howe/after the takeover, but is it really any surprise? Is it not just reflective of the general feeling malaise around the club versus the absolute high we were on during that period? Bit of after the Lord Mayor's show and all that. There are some games where I have to proper force myself to try and belt stuff out, versus others where it's just natural to do.

As mentioned above, we had to change the whole shape to accommodate it and Howe referred to it in the post-match presser. The second goal was largely his fault in the build-up and final action but it’s hard to criticise him too much, thought he was good otherwise.

He was very clearly injured/cramping for the entirety of ET, aye.
