No, he said he’s unable to sprint because of tightness in his back. He’s hoping it’s only a short-term thing. Lascelles is the only one back available for selection, as Lewis and Fernandez haven’t trained enough. "There wasn't really an injury it was more just tightness. He's had two scans, and they've come back clear. I don't think there's an injury, but maybe a problem that's stopping him from getting to full speed. Hopefully, that'll be very short term."

Few interesting bits from his presser: He feels we've got enough in midfield to cover Shelvey's absence currently but seems to be aware that another injury would put us in a bit of trouble. He has talked to Southgate about Wilson, regarding a potential inclusion in the England squad, and speaks to Southgate on a regular basis. Would love Keegan to come in and speak to the players in the future, and he will be inviting him to do so in the future. No new injuries to report.

Does anyone know of any data sources about when transfers typically happen in the summer window? My gut would say that the last few weeks are the busiest time for the sheer volume of deals that occur, but there does seem to be a lot of business getting done earlier of late.
