Can't take anything Penn writes seriously, to be fair.
-
He’s fishing, surely?
-
Fucking class that.
-
Fucking crackers. Targett, Pope, Botman, Sesko, Paqueta, Harrison, Sarr. 2/10 WNB.
-
Football Insider (really good in January), saying the bid for Harrison is £18M, not £24M: https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-newcastle-united-submit-18m-bid-for-jack-harrison.

Nice one, glad he's got a canny move. Sure he'll still score enough down there.
-
Look at the date. Just posting it to show that this Don Mitchell bloke is another full of shitter from Twitter.
-
Kev Lawson does the WyAyeScout stuff on Twitter and works for StatsBomb.
-
Kev Lawson is very switched on, mind. It's got me buzzing . We're clearly in the market for a striker of that sort of age, but I'd amazed if we had a clear run at him. There'll be a reason why the agent has posted that photo.

Love it when the plane spotting thread and the transfer rumours thread collide. There's surely got to be something in that? Sesko is an absolute FM legend.
-
100%, yeah, think it'll be one of those where people would see him play in the flesh at SJP for the first time and would be saying "we've got a fucking player here". He's proper sound, as well, which helps. Unselfish, two-footed, proven in the league, scores goals, still at a great age. It's a very Burn/Targett signing for me, but a step up from both.

https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/calcio-estero/tmw-newcastle-il-mercato-non-si-ferma-a-botman-offerta-per-harrison-1707751 The £24M is coming from Tutto Mercato and is just a paragraph. HITC picked it up and now it's on Twitter. Still reckon we'll get him, but it'll take at least £30M.
-
I reckon we’ll get Harrison, and that he‘ll be proper decent.
-
I do hope we sign Paqueta so that Shelvey doesn't have as much chance of starting, tbf.
-
We paid £25M for Chris Wood, so I’m going to say “aye”.

Not this again -
At the moment, he should start. That could change depending on remaining business.

Looking forward to seeing something like our first XI, impossible to judge too much on these two games. The good players were largely good, the usual suspects were below-par. -

Of the current squad, the XI I'd want to see together on the pitch is Pope, Trippier, Schär, Botman, Targett, Willock, Guimarães, Joelinton, Saint-Maximin, Wilson, Anderson. At least all of them can play and all want to get on the ball. -

Was just thinking the same. Who you saying? Interested to see if our lists match up
