How many teams are you picking for this one, you cracker?
-
He did it a couple of times in pre-season IIRC. Don't see why not.

Harper Tavernier Williamson Perch R. Taylor Gosling Anita Obertan Amalfitano Marveaux Shola Ameobi Elliot, Good, Ferguson, Bigirimana, Abeid, Vuckic, Campbell. Perch if Coloccini is going to be fit for Saturday (possibly regardless as he seems a "fit lad"), Marveaux if we've found him, Shola if he's fit. Tavernier and Ryan Taylor could play on opposite sides to open up the possibility of some delivery from the right for Shola. Risky but it's what I'd be inclined to do.

Why are so many people leaving Amalfitano on the bench ffs?

You are rubbish.

If that's true then I suppose we're looking at Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Sandro, Sigurdsson, Bale, Van Der Vaart and Defoe? The discrepancy between the ability out wide and that infield is ridiculous. [/famous last words] Possibly the opposite for us, depending on the selection. Looks like it could be tasty. -
Thank you for bringing that video into my life Mole. My word. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/11/15/article-0-0C06F0FA000005DC-66_468x361.jpg

I'm on the Tube hammering videos from last season. Think I love about a dozen members of our squad these days, it's insane. Still room in my heart for more, though. I'm looking at you, Gabby, you useless barsteward. One more sleep. RIP Christmas Tree. -
"Papiss Cissé 2012 HD Sensational Striker" in everyone's favourite video hosting website, just to whet the appetite for tomorrow and beyond a bit. sry if gigs

That Chelsea game was tremendous. Not sure I've ever seen a more confident striker than Cisse during that period of the season, he was like a man possessed. That night typified his brilliance/confidence.
-
Great stuff Just hope it's as fun to read as last season's as we soar gaily above all expectations. Like a majestic eagle with a sunny disposition, or a penchant for same-sex avian rattling, depending on your interpretation. HTL. FTM. ETC.

Fuck it, 26+ if he stays fit for the vast majority.
-
Ameobi and Campbell in a Geordie-superpowered/archetypal "big man/little man" combination.

My bad. Started out just as Toon Army in the U.S.A. tbf.

We'll wait until all the stuff from tonight has been discussed and the thread has died down a bit, good timing getting the next one up and running just before the season starts
