What a silly overreaction. Good point. Something to build on. fuck off. it was a shit cross. best i've seen us play in ages. nzog, despite what has been said, was dangerous, his pace is something we've missed, and he was imo the most dangerous player on the pitch once martins was taken off. i didn't have any hopes for viduka after his layoff, but he was very good. very very good infact imo. we deserved a few goals at least.

Swaps us and Sunderland. That's it.

Definitely not your connection? It's still rendering pages in less than a second for me. Same here.

Making people choose a North East XI with an inclusion from the lower divisions As though it makes it "more interesting", then you pick Krul and then you tell someone else they "need" a lower league player in their selection. It's making me chuckle.
-
You need a lower league player. James, I'm not one of these twats who's always on your back, but fucking hell man - sometimes I can see why you get the stick you do

Just don't lose lads! Howay!!!

Latest from the Chronicle.

Should have also added that he said he's told Ashley what players he wants and Big Mike has said the money is there for them (with a smile)... Time will tell.

That's a setting in your profile, which you can disable yourself: "Quick Links" (top right corner) > "Edit Profile" (from drop-down menu) > "Look and Layout Preferences" (left menu bar) > Check the box "Don't warn on new replies made while posting." > Save profile. I've done it for you, but for anybody else who gets that "Warning 2 replies have been posted since you last viewed the thread" and wants rid of it, that's how you do it.

He took part in the final training session before the game too (yesterday) and is on the pictures on nufc.co.uk: http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1470451,00.html

I'm seeing nothing about Beye in the Journal (though I'm only reading the online version.)
-
Is that the Alanis Morissette type of ironic?
-
Watching Kinnear's press conference ahead of 'Boro now and he says we're looking at central midfielders because of Barton's injury and at both fullback positions because we only have one natural FB on either side.
-
Howay lads, neither of you are doing yourselves justice carrying on like this.
-
Xisco's only been in training since Thursday, doubtful he'll be in the matchday squad. It'll probably be: Given, Beye, Coloccini, Bassong, Enrique, Gutierrez, Guthrie, Butt, N'Zogbia, Owen, Martins. SUBS: Harper, Cacapa, Taylor, Geremi, Lua Lua, Viduka, Carroll.
-
Well in his statement he said he was prepared to put £20m per season in himself (if he was telling the truth.)
-
Aye, but we lost Faye and Milner after all of that - two big parts of the first team squad.
-
The fact that he could deck them all would probably help as well.
-
Aye, that's the plan and you're right about it being the litmus test. I think Steve's going to be around to monitor things as we go, so if we do have problems we may be able to get right onto fixing them.
-
Reading up about Man Utd "clearing the decks" now: Fair play to their board for being strong enough to back Ferguson through that, like, and I suppose they've been rewarded in kind ever since. I would be all in favour of us adopting a similar method if we stayed up AND if the manager who made the changes was trusted to see it through by both the supporters AND the board. I fear there's more chance of pigs learning to fly, though.
