Twelve points from all the games we have left shouldn't be too much to ask should it? Decky's 56 point total may just be stretching it like.
-
Yeah, right. He's basically said that 3 or 4 top players can make the players currently at the club take it to a higher level. Why would he say that if he wanted more? I think he's right, like. 4 top players in the right positions would make a massive difference to us.

Winner! I was expecting a "blueyes.gif" from you in response to this. I suppose that will be close enough though.

If anything, Hargreaves was Carrick's replacement...?
-
While Hargreaves and Scholes have struggled with injury and Anderson has settled in, though. Obviously the former two could still struggle next season, but I certainly don't see him as being in "" territory, unlike some names mooted on here sometimes. I think people just assume he's out of favour/fourth choice (for some reason) and that he'd drop it all to come here in an instant because he's a Geordie, which I disagree strongly with. As Yorkie points out too, he cost them £18.6m, and his stock hasn't exactly fallen, has it? Scholes is still an excellent player but he's 33. I reckon Carrick is his replacement. Anyway, never mind. Aye, agree to disagree I suppose, especially on the Scholes bit - Anderson is surely the replacement there as Carrick plays an entirely different game to Scholes and operates much deeper, unlike the young Portuguese lad. I just hope you're wrong and that he does end up here, seems to fit exactly what Keegan would want to bring into the club.

Better than what we have, was a major part in Spurs going from mid-table to CL possibles. Wouldn't be upset. This team needs a Wallsend lad end of. Undoubtedly.

The myth that he's available in any shape or form. I'm not miserable btw. Could've fooled me We'll see what the summer holds. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen, he's not a first choice player there if Scholes and Hargreaves are fit and with Anderson looking like a fantastic prospect, he could find himself 4th choice next season... or the fulcrum of our midfield. With him being a local lad, it's not as unrealistic as you think.

"You lot"? Where is there anyone other than Sniffer taking it like you've suggested? Boo Madras. Boo.

Good answer as well. Pace isn't the be all and end all. The majority of Arsenal's players don't have what you'd call "electric pace", but they think ahead of the game and pass/move constantly. They have a few who are very quick, but it's the other things that are most important.

Maybe I'm naive, but Keegan seems like a trustworthy bloke for someone in football, even moreso than I ever remember. Certainly cut from a different cloth to our previous three gaffers, it would seem.

This jokey style of response been done to death and it was only midly amusing to begin with. Rodrigo fast become the least funny wannabe comedian on here

His own fault for allowing his agent to gob off tbh. He deserves all the heat he gets, little prick. Howay the Zog.

I agree with their stance, but what I said wasn't about that, just found it funny that they go from saying this: To advocating said meaningless online polls a week later when it suits their cause.

After their recent knockage of online polls and suchlike, I couldn't help but smirk at this:

Given Beye Taylor Faye Enrique Milner Barton Emre Duff Viduka Owen SUBS: Harper, Cacapa, Carr, Butt, Smith Please. We're going to need as much height as possible from their inevitable set-play threat, so that immediately means Carr is shipped out for Beye while Enrique is hopefully fit enough after last night to slot straight in for The Zog. I want Abdoulaye Faye doing a job on John Carew as Cacapa is too small and Taylor doesn't have the nouse about him for it. After Butt's performance on Sunday against 'Boro he simply has to be dropped and Emre/Barton given a shot in the middle of the park. Both looked lively at times against The Beasts and deserve a battle in there against Reo-Coker and Barry. Milner and Duff hopefully pick themselves, if Keegan isn't planning on going defensive to counter the threat of Ashley Young in particular. He might do the same as what he did for Downing there, allowing Butt to keep his place. If Martins is struggling then The Duke/Owen are a no-brainer as the front pairing. Could be a good game, this, if both teams line-up to win it. Excited, first away game I've got to for a while.
