Ekiteke did very well with both. Tripps is very very slow. We haven't played badly, they have some class players, they were never going to be on the back foot the whole half. Changes: Miley for tripps and perhaps Wissa on for elanga

At first glance of the teamsheets It looks like a clear Liverpool win. Tripps looks well off form and our midfields compared to theirs is pretty unevenly matched. I would have preferred the 343 we played midweek... Still, Will be very Happy with a draw or win considering

Wissa suits us so much more than woltemade, he hangs on the line of the defence and is rapid whereas we seems to be always waiting on woltemade to arrive. If we played a less Direct more possession based Game I think he would really shine. Great touch for the assist tho

Looking at our bench today, when all our players are fit we can actually maintain the level of the team with substitutions. With Burn, Elanga and Osula back we Will have a string 1st team and good options off the bench.

I like Howe a lot, my main negative with him is that he is loathe to change players until after 70mins even when It is obvious that the system or certain players are just not functioning. I also think that It is difficult for him to change style with the set of players we have, and unfortunately the high energy Creative players of the highest level are well out of our reach. With more high level subs on the bench and more willing from Eddie to bring them in earlier, could possible allows US to keep the high octane football style over the breadth of a season.
