Aye, we are playing a mid-low block and liverpool with a 1-0 lead dont need to do anythin other than pass it round the back line... Maybe with osula on we can surprise them?
-
How slow was he gettin down to their goal! Really is playing in slow motion
-
Willock´s pace can help with double tagging Salah, and botman as back up is no slouch
-
Just for the fact that they have pretty decent pace I would get Botman back in for this one: ---------------Dubs------------------ Tino----Schar-----Botman-----Hall --Bruno-----Tonali--------Willock Murphy------Isak---------Gordon If we are at the races we can do this lot. Get a two goal lead and then bring on Burn and turn it into a 5-2-3
-
His run up, falter and then hit depending on where the keeper has gone seems to have been found out. Sels kept calm amd held his place as long as possible and nearly caught Isak out, needs to vary it a bit I think...
-
Can't see it, champs league place guarantees that extra revenue and psr purchase extra. Eddie will want at least a draw. All out attack... or back to the three man defence (if botman back) with tripps or livra and hall as the wing backs
-
Would love Huijsen and Mbuemo here in the summer. Going to watch bournemouth wolves later and get another look
-
Livra and miley to come on
-
Dan burn was the one who kept Marmoush onside for the second. Very bad positioning
-
City have been very slick to be fair, a combination of them having a performance and us a stinker
-
Don't think it is Eddie setting them up wrong, but he should have had Livra in the defence. Their pace and slick passing has got them three easy goals. Our indifference, lack of intensity and glaring mistakes from our full backs have lost us this game...
-
What the fuck Hall? Why dont you just stop and show him the goal instead of shuffling to the side. FFS
-
We are crap against pace. We are being ripped to shreds by balls over the top. Trippier very slow, burn slow, schar slow and hall slow. Marmoush, savio and haaland are FAST
-
If available, all of them would deffo be starters! Harvey to have a run out off the bench if needed
-
Really hope so! Sick of their arrogance and non-stop shi*te about signing Isak
-
Minteh has played really well, dangerous every time he gets the ball, also drops back to form a back five defensive line.
-
If I had a choice of 55M Dybler or 62M Cunha, the wolves man would be coming to newcastle. Has everything we like; a fighter, presses, technical, pace and can play on the right or number 10.
-
bayern Munich stadium is 75.000 and looks quite cool in my opinion (similar to Athletic Bilbao) and has a great atmosphere (been twice). Borrusia Dortmund at 85k is an old stadium but top for atmosphere. We would not do badly copying both of them and coming out with a St james Pk Bastardo!
-
Come on, he backed off Traore every time and looked terrified. He is great with the ball at his feet amd when wingers have normal pace. Rant over, hope eddie thinks about team selection better for pace against us, maybe botman instead of burn would help...
-
Thought our defence were abysmal today. Schar yards off the pace, big dan is too predictable and both backs were pretty poor. Bruno and Joe are shagged, looked well off it. Isak, Gordon and murphy were pretty decent, tonali was off. We need to refresh this squad, we just don't have players to come in and list the team. JADED, BURN'T OUT OR SIMILAR....
-
WE CANNOT PLAY HALL AGAINST A PACY WINGER! he was like a rabbit in the headlights against Traore, and Traore is absolute guff!!! FOR FUCKS SAKE! VERY POOR DISPLAY. yep, only twenty but he just cannot handle pace, he was singled out all the time.

Another top game from the murph
