    Kieran Trippier

Aye, something like that would do, although keeping Tino in his preferred position will not downgrade the team.
  2. No chance Eddie goes anywhere. We are light years ahead of schedule. A couple of bad results do not make a season, hopefully we get some more players back over the next week or two (Isak, Barnes, Schar)
  3. Would really like to give tripps a rest for this one, needs it. Having Tino as back up makes the decision easier. Rest of team more or less picks itself...
  4. Phillips being a loan to buy would free up enough for the other two
  5. A perfect window for me would be: Soule (RW) Phillips (DM) Any N°9
  6. The Feyenord loanee seemed good business and is progressing nicely. A few more of these would be great. In January if we have barnes, willock, anderson back I would go all out for a striker, wouldn't make that much sense for a midfielder (unless Phillips really can be a loan deal with option to buy or not buy). A right winger and cemtre back could also be useful
  7. It is quite funny, over here in Spain if you do not live in or near to (30 mins max) a big city your La Liga club is either Barca or Madrid.
  8. The biggest club in the world currently has to be Real Madrid, all of the biggest stars in football want to play there, they have won a huge percentage of the champs league in the last 10-15 years and seem to be quite a well run club by Florentino, albeit with advantages from local government and their own Spanish league to perpetuate their position.

You could argue that he us more of a "wingback" than a full back, more attack minded than defensive. Another young lad who will need time and confidence. I am also suspect of his defensive qualities, but who the hell am I to decide that. Eddie and Ashworth will have done their homework, a la Gordon, I assume.

Yep, impressed with him today, looked just like before he got injured. Well done! From being a complete waste of a place under pie face to a competent defender under Howe!!!

    Lewis Miley

Just his passion to make the easy back pass or side pass and his lack of covering the runners. Today he did quite the opposite....
  12. A bit better today and came out well for the very few crosses they put in. Let's see over the next couple of weeks, could do with a nice purple patch from him...

Must admit, I was very doubtfull about his previous games but really liked what I saw today. Amazing to think he is just seventeen, a year or two more slowly blooding him and we might have a superstar on our hands
  14. Has a year to adapt to our system, learn english and bed in to his surroundings... No excuses next summer.
  15. With the crowd at full tilt we can do this. Milan have serious defensive problems and quite a few injured. WE CAN DO THIS!
  16. Aye, Dubs looked very rusty yesterday. the second goal was for me the worst one, he knows that ball is coming across the area or going back towards the penalty spot (no angle for inside post), should have got a leg to it.
  17. Agree with most of the above. Think with full teams either of the two could win. We looked pretty jaded yesterday and Trippier is one of the worst sufferers, his last few games have been mistake laden and he looks like he has lead legs when up against a fast winger...
  18. We could have been two goals up in the first half with gordon's cross and miggy's weak shot. Could have changed the outlook. Song was unreal and tripps was thoroughly ripped a new bumhole. Not a lot Eddie could have done with the players available and chnaces not taken

His tracking back and intensity was way off for me today. I get he is a 17 yr old kid but he did not seem to bust a gut on a few occassions when spurs counter attacked. The rest of the gane was ok, deffo need longstaff back in the middle
  20. I would 100% rest a few of the team and try to win on wednesday. My team for today: --------dubs-------- Tino--Kraft--Schar--Hall Sean--Bruno--Joe L Miggs--Wilson--Gordon Bring on Barnes, Miley and Diallo when we go two up!!
  21. Much better at rugby, but when I did play at centre half used to enjoy roughin up any centre forward who was up for it. Best stuff was when I was studying at Leeds and playing the sunday leagues against fully grown men, some good tussles!
  22. Probably going to be one of the most difficult years to stay in the top six. The current top ten teams are very good and can probably beat anyone on a good day. Apart from the bottom three I reckon it's one of the strongest prem league i have ever seen.
