Let's wait and see... If we spend some of the money on a "replacement" and get de Jong in I will be pacified, I will not be excited but it will make sense to me and it will keep the team in line with our dumbed down ambitions (or lack of).

That should work in theory but never seems to in practice - think HBA loses the ball too much playing there, which can be very dangerous in a central position. Can actually see Sissoko moved into that role and Ben Arfa to the right. Sissoko is never a number 10, but I think he might be the best bet in a midfield three and just try to batter his way forward like against Chelsea and at Villa last season. We're seriously f***ed for the next couple of months if we don't get Cabella or someone of that quality in. I would rather move Sissoko into that middle position and ben arfa out right also, just seems more balanced that benarfa in that nº10 role, too weak and not enough of a team player to carry it out well

Come on, it's so obvious that they knew PSG or someone would be making a bid, otherwise why the hell would they be sniffing around Cabella as a replacement for 12M, we never spend that amount... It will make the system slightly more attacking but without cabaye's goals and energy I do worry. Still, anything north of 18 million pound is a good deal (for fatty )
